Doxa Launches First Time-Only SUB 250 For Seddiqi’s 75th Anniversary
Exactly a week ago, we explored the exclusive Gerald Charles Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin Tiger’s Eye—a refined dress watch created to honor Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons’ 75th anniversary. Today, we turn to a very different interpretation of the same milestone: the new Doxa SUB 250 Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Limited Edition. Where Gerald Charles paid tribute with elegance and artistry, Doxa brings its tool-watch DNA to the celebration, highlighting the other side of watchmaking—robust, functional, and ready for adventure.

A First for the SUB 250 Line
This release marks the first time the SUB 250 has appeared as a time-only model. Until now, the SUB 250 name was reserved for the GMT version, positioned between the SUB 300 and the SUB 200T. By introducing this special edition, Doxa adds a compact yet fully capable diver to the family, setting the tone for future variations.
Case and Bezel Design
Built for purpose, the case is crafted from 316L stainless steel in Doxa’s cushion shape, measuring 40mm across, 42.9mm lug-to-lug, and just under 12mm in height. The watch is secured with a screw-down crown and caseback, flat sapphire crystal, and delivers water resistance up to 250 meters.

Its unidirectional rotating bezel features Doxa’s signature no-decompression dive scale, here enhanced with Eastern Arabic numerals—an exclusive regional detail. The caseback engraving proudly displays “75” alongside the words “Where Legacy Meets Luxury,” tying the watch directly to the anniversary it commemorates.
Dial and Display
The cherry-red sunray dial makes an immediate statement, echoing Dubai’s fiery horizons. Complementing the bold background are sand-gold hands and applied indices, all coated with Super-LumiNova for strong readability. The date display at 3 o’clock continues the theme, using Eastern Arabic numerals to mirror the bezel design.

Movement
At its core, the watch is powered by the automatic Sellita SW300 caliber. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a 56-hour power reserve, the movement ensures both reliability and precision. It also represents a notable step up from the calibers typically used by Doxa, further distinguishing this commemorative model.
Straps and Availability
Doxa delivers the SUB 250 Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary on its classic beads-of-rice stainless-steel bracelet with folding clasp and dive extension. A black FKM rubber strap with its own extension is also included, offering versatility between professional use and casual wear.

Limited to just 75 numbered pieces, this exclusive edition is available only through Ahmed Seddiqi boutiques at a price of AED 12,000.

With the Gerald Charles Maestro 2.0 honoring Seddiqi’s anniversary through refinement and artistry, and Doxa now doing so through rugged performance and diving heritage, collectors are presented with two very different but equally meaningful ways to celebrate this landmark year in the Middle East’s watchmaking story.
