Doxa Enhances Sub 200 With Flat Steel Bezel And Expands The Collection
Doxa strengthens its Sub 200 collection with new references that introduce a polished steel bezel, enhancing its already distinct vintage-inspired dive watch lineup. Originally launched in 2019, the Sub 200 represents the brand’s most accessible diver, blending heritage cues with modern specifications and robust build quality.

The latest additions retain the signature architecture of the Sub 200, housed in a 42 mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 13.80 mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 46 mm. Designed with short lugs for a balanced fit on the wrist, the case combines brushed surfaces with polished bevels. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a screw-down crown and caseback guarantee 200 meters of water resistance.

A key change in these new models is the introduction of a polished steel bezel insert, replacing the sapphire-crystal-covered versions in this specific variant. The steel insert features a flat profile, giving the watch a slimmer visual impression and emphasizing the dial’s presence. The unidirectional bezel is styled with a coin-edge grip and a detailed diving scale, offering increased contrast and a more technical aesthetic.

The collection continues to showcase Doxa’s signature use of color with eight dial options available. These include Professional, featuring the brand’s iconic orange; Sharkhunter, in black; Searambler, with a silver tone; Caribbean, in navy blue; Aquamarine, with a bright turquoise hue; Divingstar, in vivid yellow; Whitepearl, offering a clean white aesthetic; and Sea Emerald, a rich green with a sunray-brushed finish. All other dials feature a matte texture to optimize legibility underwater, a critical aspect of any professional dive watch. The dial layout includes baton-style indices and broad hands filled with Super-LumiNova, along with a date window at 3 o’clock. To maintain visual coherence, the color of the minute track and the date window frame matches the dial.

Inside, the watch runs on the reliable Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and providing a 38-hour power reserve. Known for its ease of servicing and durability, the calibre aligns with the tool-watch nature of the Sub 200.
Strap choices include a matching-color FKM rubber strap or a stainless steel beads-of-rice bracelet, both equipped with folding clasps and a wetsuit extension. A green NATO strap is exclusively available with the Sea Emerald variant. With eight dial colors and two strap options (three for the Sea Emerald), the steel bezel models comprise 16 total references.

Retail prices start at € 1,110 for the rubber strap versions and € 1,150 with the steel bracelet. The Sea Emerald NATO model is priced slightly lower at € 970.
