The Louis Vuitton Tambour Taiko Spin Time collection showcases remarkable innovation in watchmaking, combining artistic design with advanced mechanics. This collection introduces a redesigned case and a new In-house movement that elevate the iconic Spin Time module. Available in two sizes, 39.50mm and 42.50mm, all models feature a luxurious white gold case and a sophisticated gray dial, complemented by Louis Vuitton’s patented rotating cube system.
The 39.50mm models include a sunburst dial version and a diamond-set Hawk’s eye dial variant, offering a refined and elegant aesthetic. In contrast, the 42.50mm Spin Time Air variants emphasize contemporary design, highlighted by a transparent periphery showcasing 12 floating cubes. Among these, the Spin Time Air Antipode stands out with its world time complication, allowing users to track 24 different time zones displayed on the cubes. Another noteworthy model, the Spin Time Air Flying Tourbillon, takes center stage with a mesmerizing flying tourbillon complication, further enhancing its appeal.
The collection features three In-house movements, each designed to optimize performance. The 39.50mm and 42.50mm standard versions are powered by the ST13.01 caliber with 246 components, offering automatic operation at 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 45-hour power reserve. The Air Antipode model utilizes the ST12.01 caliber with 271 components, while the Air Flying Tourbillon boasts the ST05.01 caliber with 283 components, showcasing the brand’s dedication to precision and innovation.
In terms of durability and comfort, the 39.50mm models provide 100m of water resistance and are paired with a rubber strap featuring a white gold buckle. The 42.50mm versions, designed for a more luxurious appeal, offer 50m of water resistance and are accompanied by a beige leather strap with a matching white gold buckle.
Limited production enhances the exclusivity of this collection. The 39.50mm sunburst version is limited to 150 pieces, priced at €80,000, while the diamond-set Hawk’s eye version is capped at 50 pieces, priced at €160,000. The 42.50mm Spin Time Air standard model is limited to 150 pieces and priced at €90,000, with the diamond-set variant limited to 30 pieces and priced at €160,000. The Air Antipode model is available in 50 pieces at €110,000, and the Air Flying Tourbillon is limited to 70 pieces with a price of €190,000.
