Discover Louis Erard’s New 2300 Sport Chronograph Trio
Louis Erard has unveiled a striking new collection of limited-edition chronographs, the 2300 Sport Chronograph series, paying homage to the brand’s birthplace, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The name itself is a tribute, referencing the city’s 2300 zip code.
Crafted with precision and style, these timepieces come in a Grade 5 titanium case, measuring 44mm in diameter, 15mm in thickness, and 52.40mm in length, combining satin finishes with polished bevels for a sophisticated appearance. The chronographs also feature a black ceramic tachymeter bezel, sapphire glassbox, a fluted crown at 3 o’clock flanked by pushers, and are waterproof up to 50 meters.
The dial of the 2300 Sport Chronograph has a tri-compax layout with two silvered chronograph registers—a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock and a 12-hour register at 6 o’clock. A recessed running seconds subdial sits at 9 o’clock, while a day-date window is conveniently placed next to the crown. The applied hour markers and pencil-shaped hands are filled with Super-LumiNova for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions.
There are three distinct versions of the 2300 Sport Chronograph, each offering a unique colour scheme. One model features a blue dial with vibrant yellow details, another is dressed in green with orange accents, and the final variant comes in monochrome black, elevated by a rainbow minute track. These aesthetic choices make each timepiece stand out while maintaining Louis Erard’s elegant design language.
Powering the chronograph is the reliable Valjoux 7750 automatic movement, featuring 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 Vph, and a power reserve of up to 48 hours. This robust and accurate movement further enhances the value of these limited-edition watches.
Each model is paired with a matching FKM rubber strap and a titanium clasp, adding to the sportiness and comfort of the timepiece. With only 99 pieces available for each variant, the watches are numbered in multiples of 3, a playful nod to the brand’s creative spirit. Priced at CHF 3,333, a sequence perfectly aligned with the brand’s whimsical touch, the Louis Erard 2300 Sport Chronograph is sure to be a collector’s piece.
