Delma Midland Automatic Meteorite Takes Its Dial Beyond Earth
Delma expands its Midland collection with a new limited edition that replaces the collection’s colourful guilloché dials with a material that is quite literally out of this world. The new Midland Automatic Meteorite combines the collection’s 1980s-inspired integrated-bracelet design with a genuine Muonionalusta meteorite dial, giving the sporty-chic model a distinctly individual character.

The Midland has established itself as Delma’s interpretation of the integrated-bracelet sports watch, combining a tonneau-shaped case with a fluted bezel and a bracelet that flows directly from the case. For this new edition, the basic architecture remains unchanged, but the dial introduces a natural element that ensures no two examples are exactly alike.
A familiar Midland case
The watch retains the stainless-steel case used by the larger automatic Midland models, measuring 40.50 mm in diameter, 14 mm in thickness and 47 mm from lug to lug. Its tonneau-shaped construction gives it a distinctly contemporary sports-watch profile, while the combination of brushed surfaces and polished bevels creates contrast across the angular case.

A fluted bezel surrounds the sapphire crystal, which features anti-reflective treatment for improved legibility. The case is also water resistant to 100 metres, making the Midland Meteorite suitable for everyday wear rather than restricting it to more formal occasions.
The integrated stainless-steel bracelet follows the shape of the case and continues the alternation between brushed surfaces and polished edges. It closes with a folding clasp equipped with pushers.
Genuine Muonionalusta meteorite
The defining feature of this Midland is undoubtedly its dial. Instead of the pyramid guilloché pattern found on other versions of the collection, Delma uses genuine Muonionalusta meteorite.
The material has an extraterrestrial origin, having formed in space long before reaching Earth. Once cut and finished for use as a watch dial, the meteorite reveals its characteristic Widmanstätten pattern: a network of naturally occurring crystalline structures created during its extremely slow cooling process.

Because this pattern is intrinsic to the material, every dial has its own arrangement of lines and structures. As a result, each of the 100 watches in this limited edition carries a slightly different visual composition.
Delma keeps the rest of the dial relatively restrained, allowing the meteorite to remain the main attraction. Applied hour markers sit around the dial alongside a discreet minute track, while the date window is positioned at 3 o’clock.
The palladium-nickel-plated hour and minute hands are filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9, adding a practical luminous element to the otherwise highly decorative dial. Central seconds complete the traditional hours, minutes, seconds and date display.
Swiss automatic movement
Inside the Midland Automatic Meteorite is the Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic calibre. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers approximately 41 hours of power reserve. A customised Delma rotor provides a brand-specific touch and can be seen through the exhibition caseback.

The choice of the SW200-1 also keeps the watch firmly within the accessible luxury segment, offering a proven automatic platform while allowing the meteorite dial to remain the principal point of differentiation.
Availability and Price
Limited to just 100 pieces, the Delma Midland Automatic Meteorite is priced at € 1,700. That places it above the standard automatic Midland models, but the additional cost comes with a dial made from a naturally occurring material whose pattern cannot simply be reproduced from one watch to another.
