Czapek expands its chronograph offering with the introduction of the Faubourg de Cracovie Crossroads Victory Green, a new limited edition that adds a distinctive colourway to the brand’s elegant yet sporty chronograph collection. While the Antarctique remains the most widely recognised Czapek line, the Faubourg de Cracovie showcases the manufacture’s expertise in high-end chronograph design and traditional decorative techniques.
The watch is housed in a 41.50 mm stainless steel case that balances refined proportions with a robust presence on the wrist. Its round profile is complemented by polished lugs, while the case construction reveals a more technical character from the side. Recessed lug flanks flow into a partially hollowed caseband with a sandblasted finish, reducing visual mass and weight. On the right side, the case is defined by a large crown and integrated chronograph pushers, reinforcing the watch’s functional intent.
The defining feature of this edition is its guilloché dial, executed in Czapek’s signature double soleil pattern. Originally developed for the Quai des Bergues collection, the motif has been adapted here with straighter geometry and more pronounced engraving to enhance the sporty aesthetic. The dial is finished in Victory Green, achieved through a PVD treatment, resulting in a deep green tone that shifts subtly depending on the light.
The chronograph layout is clear and symmetrical. A 30-minute counter is positioned at 3 o’clock, balanced by a 12-hour totaliser at 9 o’clock, both featuring a snailed finish for contrast. At 6 o’clock, the small seconds subdial intersects with a discreet date aperture. Completing the display is a tachymeter scale printed along the outer edge of the dial, highlighting the sporty nature of the timepiece.
Powering the watch is the SXH3 automatic chronograph calibre, developed by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier exclusively for Czapek. The movement operates at a high frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 vph), offers a 65-hour power reserve, and is COSC-certified for chronometer precision. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement features finely bevelled bridges and a skeletonised rotor crafted in rose gold.
The Czapek Faubourg de Cracovie Crossroads Victory Green Chronograph is produced in a limited edition of 18 pieces and is priced at CHF 32,000 (excluding tax).
