Cream Coral and Electric Green Are the New Colors of Nomos Club Campus
One thing I like about the Nomos Club Campus is undoubtedly its simplicity and practicality, without complications it offers the basics that any watch can offer, the time. Its simple and elegant design materialized in a Californian dial does not make it boring, and its entry price, despite not being low, is fair considering the quality that Nomos employs.
Over the years, the Nomos Club has not undergone major changes, and we understand why, a winning team does not change, instead, the Germanic brand has opted to introduce different variants consummated in dials of different shades. The options have been varied but only recently have we seen the arrival of brighter colours to Nomos Campus, in shades of orange, deep pink and purple, and today the Nomos took another step in this direction with the introduction of two new colours in the collection, cream coral and electric green, which without a doubt are from now my favourites in the collection.
The time for the presentation of the new Club Campus Cream Coral and Electric Green could not be more pertinent, with the arrival of Spring two days ago, at a time when we started to undress the dark colours of a long winter, colour is everything that we need for the longer and brighter days ahead.
The two new Club Campus arrive in two sizes, 36 and 38.5mm, on the outside they are dressed in a stainless steel case with a smooth bezel and a polished finish, fluted crown at three o’clock with the brand’s signature, domed sapphire crystal, screwed case back and 100m water resistance.
The new dials in coral and green tones feature the traditional California dial layout, consisting of Arabic and Roman numerals, and pencil hands, all filled with Super-LumiNova, and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock with the usual orange small hand.
At the heart of the new Nomos Campus continues to operate the Caliber Alpha manual movement, which operates at 21,600 Vph and offers up to 43 hours of power reserve.
Both watches are offered with a velour leather grey strap and are available from today on sale at the brand’s official points with prices of €1,300 and €1,400 for the 36 and 38mm versions respectively.
