Corvette Grand Sport Is Back — And It’s Smarter Than Ever
The legend never really left—it just went quiet for a while.
For 2027, the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport comes back with a renewed sense of purpose, blending everyday usability with serious performance in a way few sports cars manage.

A Purist’s Engine, Reimagined
At its core is a new naturally aspirated 6.7-liter LS6 V8 from General Motors, delivering 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. It’s a modern engine with old-school spirit—high compression, forged internals, and a focus on responsiveness rather than just raw numbers.
Paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, it promises a sharp yet engaging driving experience, whether on the road or the track.

Two Personalities, One Badge
The Grand Sport stays true to its dual nature. Standard Magnetic Ride Control and all-season Michelin tires make it perfectly usable day-to-day, while optional packages unlock its more aggressive side.
The Z52 Performance Package adds stickier rubber and upgraded brakes from the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, while the Track Pack introduces carbon-ceramic brakes and aerodynamic enhancements for serious track work.

The Hybrid Twist: Grand Sport X
The biggest evolution comes with the Grand Sport X.
Replacing the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, it pairs the LS6 V8 with a front electric motor inspired by the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X, delivering a combined 721 horsepower—more than even the Z06.
Beyond power, it brings electrified all-wheel drive, improving traction and adding a new layer of performance and control.

The Sweet Spot Returns
Slotting between the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and Z06, the Grand Sport once again hits that ideal balance—fast, usable, and engaging.
It may not chase extremes, but that’s precisely the point. This is the Corvette designed to do everything—and do it well.
