Citizen’s Tsuyosa Collection Adds Colorful New Automatic Models

Citizen is once again reinforcing its “Tsuyosa” collection, the affordable sport-chic watch with an integrated bracelet that has delighted its audience so much.

After we saw the debut of the Tsuyosa Small Seconds in March, the base Automatic version time-date brings three new models to the collection, the first comes with a distinct burgundy dial, the other two being completely new ones, we are talking about the first watch in the collection to come with a gold-plated steel case with a green dial and another that comes with a colourful dial with vertical orientation and that includes a wide palette of colours on the background and markers that includes shades of blue, lilac, purple, green, red, orange and yellow. The Tsuyosa Automatic collection already counts with dials in blue, light blue, teal, green, yellow, orange, black, and white and two exclusive editions for Europe in salmon and camouflage.

The new entries, in addition to the new shades on the dial, do not bring any new aesthetic or mechanical features, returning to a round case in mainly brushed stainless steel measuring 40mm in diameter and 11.70mm thick, smooth polished bezel, sapphire crystal with magnifier, recessed crown at 4 o’clock, screwed open case back and 50m water resistance.

The dial has the same layout as its siblings, with applied polished stick hour markers that, like the hour and minute hands, are filled with luminescent material, a date window at 3 o’clock on a white background, a minute track rehaut and a centre seconds hand.

Inside we once again find the Caliber 8210 automatic movement with hacking seconds, operating at 21,600 Vph and offering up to 42 hours of power reserve.

The watches are attached to an integrated 3-link steel bracelet, with the side links brushed and the central link polished and with a folding clasp.

The watches follow the same line as the rest of the collection, with burgundy and coloured versions priced at USD 450 and the gold-plated steel version at USD 495.
