Citizen expands its new Zenshin line with the Zenshin Senkei Super Titanium Chronograph, introducing a sportier, more dynamic version of the time-only Zenshin 60 that debuted earlier this May. Targeting the highly competitive segment of integrated bracelet sports watches, this new release brings Eco-Drive technology, a durable Super Titanium case, and a Tri-Compax chronograph layout, all at an attractive price point of USD 650.
Super Titanium Case with Sleek Brushed and Polished Finishing
The Citizen Zenshin Senkei Chronograph retains a similar profile to its automatic sibling, coming in at 41 mm wide, just slightly larger than the Zenshin 60’s 40.50 mm case. Crafted from Citizen’s proprietary Super Titanium, the case offers enhanced scratch resistance and light weight. It features a vertically brushed surface with a polished 12-sided bezel, a sapphire crystal, and a fluted crown flanked by two pushers for the chronograph function. The watch also includes a screwed solid case back and is rated for 50 meters of water resistance, making it both practical and stylish for everyday wear.
Checkerboard Textured Dial in Three Color Variants
The checkerboard-style textured dial is available in four distinct colorways. The CA4690-51A version features a white-silvery dial with a black running seconds sub-dial that matches the bezels of the chronograph counters, creating a strong contrast and excellent legibility, and the same applies to the CA4690-51E with black dial which features an inverted configuration. The CA4691-59X variant comes with a rich blue dial that pairs a white running seconds sub-dial with darker-toned chronograph counters that subtly echo the color of the rehaut. Lastly, the green model, also coded CA4691-59X, mirrors the blue version’s layout but with a deep green base tone that gives it a bold and modern character.
Each dial follows a Tri-Compax chronograph configuration, including a 24-hour indicator at the 3 o’clock position, a running seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock, and a 60-minute counter at 9 o’clock. There is also a discreet white-background date window nestled at 4:30. Enhancing legibility and style, the watch is equipped with faceted hour markers and hands filled with luminescent material, while a printed second/minute track runs along the outer edge of the dial. A slender chronograph seconds hand sits at the center, ready to time with precision.

In contrast to the automatic movement found in the time-only Zenshin 60, the Zenshin Senkei Chronograph is powered by Citizen’s Eco-Drive quartz movement.
