Citizen Unveils Compact Time-Date And Versatile Chrono In Super Titanium Range
In April we talked here about the new Citizen Super Titanium with an integrated bracelet, which came with small seconds and which now expands the collection with a more compact time-date version and a wider chrono.
The new additions once again come with a textured dial, sapphire glass, barrel-shaped super titanium case with a mainly brushed finish, smooth bezel, fluted crown at 3 o’clock which in the chrono version is accompanied by two pushers and 100m of water resistance. On the inside, unlike the automatic movement of the Small-seconds, they come with a Quartz Eco-Drive movement powered by any light source that does not require changing batteries.
The time-date version arrives in a 39mm case in four colours, silvery-white, dark blue, turquoise and deep green which are the same as the small seconds.
The dial comes with applied hour markers that, like the hands, are filled with luminescent material, a double day-date window at 3 o’clock with a white background and a minute track outer ring that is painted black in the coloured versions.
The new Chronos come with a Panda dial in four different shades, silvery-white, dark blue, turquoise or salmon. Featuring a Tri-compax layout consisting of a 24-hour register at 3, running seconds at 6 and a 60-minute counter at 9 o’clock in a black tone that matches the tachymeter inner bezel. Also adding a date window at 4:30, hour markers and three centre hands.
The time-date version comes equipped with the Caliber J800 while the Chrono version is driven by the B620 movement, with both attached to an integrated super titanium bracelet with folding clasp priced at €329 and €449 respectively.
