Christopher Ward Enhances C65 Dune Aeolian Line With Fresh Colors, Bronze Options, And A GMT
The Christopher Ward C65 Dune Field collection has expanded with seven new models, introducing fresh design elements and an exciting new GMT variant. Known for its versatile and wrist-friendly design, this watch line now offers a textured dial inspired by Aeolian sand patterns, available in vibrant tones that add visual dynamism.
Among the six new time-only models, four come in stainless steel cases with dial options in Silica Grey, Eve Blue, Marram Green, and White Sand. For those seeking a more vintage aesthetic, two models in COSC-certified bronze cases are available with Dusk Brown and Marram Green dials. These bronze variants feature a gradient effect that darkens from the center to the edges, enhancing their visual appeal.
The cases measure 38mm in diameter, 11.90mm in thickness, and 43.70mm lug-to-lug, making them well-suited for most wrists. With a brushed finish complemented by polished bevels, the watches come with a sapphire crystal, smooth bezel, signed crown, and a screw-down open case back, offering 150 meters of water resistance.
The dial layout remains true to the collection’s signature design, featuring applied hour markers and a three-hand set filled with Super-LumiNova (SLN) for optimal readability. The bronze models are distinguished by their Old Radium SLN accents, enhancing their vintage charm. The reliable Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement powers all six models, with the bronze versions featuring the COSC-certified variant for superior accuracy and an extended 56-hour power reserve compared to the 38-hour reserve of the steel models.
For added versatility, customers can choose between canvas straps, vintage leather straps, or Bader steel bracelets. Prices range from €950 to €1,165 for the steel models and from €1,220 to €1,665 for the bronze versions.
The collection also welcomes the new Dune Aeolian GMT model, marking the second permanent GMT option after the previous black limited edition and beige variant. This watch features a smooth Eve Blue dial, complemented by a central GMT hand and a bi-color inner bezel with night hours in blue and day hours in beige tones. The addition of a date window at 6 o’clock provides a practical touch.
Inside, the GMT model houses the Sellita SW330-2 automatic movement, offering a 56-hour power reserve and precise timekeeping. It shares the same case dimensions and strap options as the time-only models, with prices starting at €1,250.
