Christopher Ward Debuts The C65 Dune GMT

Christopher Ward brings new blood to the C65 Dune collection by introducing the first variant with a second time zone. 

The new field watch, which despite the new complication manages to maintain the moderate dimensions of the collection, is presented with a white sand dial and green khaki accents. 

On the outside, the watch wears the usual round stainless steel case with dimensions of 38mm wide, 11.90mm high and 43.70mm lug-to-lug distance, featuring a brushed finish on the surfaces and polished on the bevels, smooth bezel, boxed sapphire crystal, screwed crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s logo and exhibition case back, and finally, 150m of waterproofing. 

On the white sand dial, we can find applied hour markers and hands all filled with Super-LumiNova Light Old Radium, that gives a vintage look, date window at 6 o’clock, a 24-hour inner bezel that together with the extra centre GMT hand are responsible for providing a second time zone both in khaki green, and also the embossed brand’s logo at noon and three lines of black text at 6 o’clock hours with the inscriptions “GMT”, “Automatic” and “150m | 500ft”. 

It is through the open screwed case back that we can observe the Sellita SW330-2 automatic movement that reaches 28,800 Vph and offers up to 56 hours of power reserve. 

The watch comes with three straps options, namely a camel canvas webbing strap, a camel vintage oak leather strap with white stitching or a sader steel bracelet matching the case. 

The new C65 Dune GMT can now be found in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers with prices starting at €1,250 for the canvas strap option to €1,465 for the steel bracelet.
