Christopher Ward Brings Candy-Inspired Dials To The Twelve 36

Christopher Ward has unveiled one of its most playful releases to date with the new The Twelve 36 Pick ‘n’ Mix, a collection of six colourful limited editions that brings a fresh look to the brand’s integrated sports watch. While the overall architecture remains unchanged, the new watches stand out thanks to their highly textured gradient dials inspired by classic confectionery, adding a vibrant personality to the lightweight titanium model.

Six Vibrant Dial Colours

Each of the six versions is produced in a limited run of just 50 pieces, with dial colours named Sour Apple (green), Kola Krystals (brown), Fizzy Orange (orange), Cherry Pop (red), Blue Sherbet (blue), and Berry Burst (purple).

Beyond their striking colours, the dials feature a unique crystallised texture created using a custom stamping tool developed specifically for this project, giving the surface remarkable depth and a sugar-like appearance that changes under different lighting conditions. The combination of textured finishing and gradient tones makes these some of the most distinctive dials Christopher Ward has introduced within The Twelve collection.

Lightweight Titanium Case

The watches retain the familiar proportions of The Twelve 36, featuring a 36 mm Grade 2 titanium case that measures just 8.95 mm thick. Its signature dodecagonal bezel combines predominantly brushed surfaces with polished bevels, reinforcing the sporty yet refined character of the collection.

A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while another on the reverse side reveals the movement. For these limited editions, the sapphire caseback is decorated with a playful “Pick ‘n’ Mix” graphic that reinforces the collection’s fun-inspired identity.

Applied baton hour markers and faceted hands are filled with Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability, while the omission of a date display keeps the dial perfectly balanced.

COSC-Certified Automatic Movement

Powering the watch is the Sellita SW300-1b automatic calibre, a COSC-certified chronometer that has been modified without a date mechanism, eliminating the unused crown position found on standard date-equipped versions.

The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and delivers a 56-hour power reserve, combining proven reliability with chronometer-level accuracy.

Two Bracelet Options

Like the regular Twelve models, the watch offers 100 metres of water resistance thanks to its screw-down crown, making it suitable for everyday wear as well as recreational swimming.

Each limited edition is supplied with two interchangeable wearing options: a colour-matched integrated rubber strap and Christopher Ward’s integrated Grade 2 titanium bracelet. Both are equipped with butterfly clasps incorporating the brand’s 3 mm micro-adjustment system, allowing the fit to be fine-tuned while maintaining the sleek integrated design.
