Chopard Alpine Eagle Goes Green
After Aletsch Blue, Bernina Gray and Absolute Black now comes a new colour to the Alpine Eagle 41mm collection, the “Pine Green” inspired by the green vegetation of the forests that cover the mountains in summer.
The new hue comes in the form of two variants, one in Lucent Steel A223 made from 70% recycled material, which reinforces the brand’s commitment to promoting sustainability, and the second variant in 18K rose gold, whose material origin is 100% ethical, as in all the brand’s creations since 2008. Part of the sales goes to the Alpine Eagle Foundation, which promotes the white-tailed eagle reintroduction in the lake Geneva region.
The new watches come with a textured green dial with the radiating pattern, rhodium-plated or gold-plated hour markers, Roman numerals, hands filled with Grade X1 Super-LumiNova, central seconds hand, and a date window matching the dial at 4 1/2 o’clock.
Outside wide bezel with 8 screws, fluted crown with crown guards at 3 o’clock, sapphire crystal on the front and case back, integrated 3-link bracelet and finish that switches between brushed and polished.
It is powered by the in-house Caliber 01.01-C automatic movement that is chronometer-certified, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 60 hours of power reserve.
The new Chopard Alpine Eagle are now available in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers for €16,100 and €55,400 for the steel and gold versions respectively.
