Venezianico Unveils The Nereide Titanio: Inspired By Myth And Strength

Venezianico has introduced titanium to its renowned Nereide dive watch collection, marking a significant milestone for the brand. This new model celebrates the resilience and strength of titanium, drawing inspiration from the statue of Atlas in Venice’s Doge’s Palace. In Greek mythology, Atlas symbolizes endurance as the Titan who bore the weight of the world on his shoulders—a fitting parallel to the robust design of this new dive watch.

The Nereide Titanium features a 42mm case with a length of 49mm, crafted entirely from titanium and finished with a brushed texture that enhances its rugged aesthetic. Its unidirectional bezel, also made from titanium, incorporates a 120-click mechanism and a diving scale with BGW9 Super-LumiNova inserts, ensuring functionality and visibility even in the depths of the ocean. The sapphire crystal, screw-down crown with protective guards, and a solid case back engraved with Atlas further highlight its durability and water resistance, rated up to an impressive 300 meters.

The dial presents a striking gradient effect, transitioning from a rich blue center to a darker edge that merges seamlessly with the black minute chapter ring. Applied indexes and hands, filled with turquoise luminescent material, enhance readability in low-light conditions. A date window positioned next to the crown complements the minimalist branding at noon, while the word “Nereide” and the Italian term “Titano” are elegantly inscribed at six o’clock, emphasizing its titanium construction.

Powering this limited-edition timepiece is the reliable Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement. With 26 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and a 38-hour power reserve, this movement ensures precision and dependable performance. The watch is paired with a blue textile and FKM rubber strap featuring a titanium clasp, along with an additional elastic strap for versatility.

Limited to just 500 pieces, the Venezianico Nereide Titanium is priced at €1,095, offering exceptional value for a robust, elegantly designed dive watch. With its homage to mythological strength and innovative use of materials, this watch is a must-have for enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Venezianico Launches Nereide Aureo With Exclusive Gold-Plated Dial

Nereide Aureo is the latest dive watch brought by Venezianico, it arrives in a limited edition and comes with a unique gold dial.

The gold-plated laminated dial recalls the patina of old watches and, according to the brand, is inspired by the laminated materials found in Basilica di San Marco. Its production goes through an electrolytic process with a 24k gold bath and several varnish layers that make each one unique, with no two being the same.

On the outside, we find a stainless steel case with dimensions of 42mm wide, 13.50mm high and 49mm long that comes with a mainly brushed finish. Featuring a 60-minute bezel with a polished Tungsten insert, sapphire crystal, screw-down crown at 3 o’clock flanked by guards, solid case back held by 6-screws and engraved with the Basilica and 200m of water resistance.

The textured dial is adorned with a golden minute chapter ring on which stand polished hour markers suspended which, like the hands, are filled with Super-LumiNova, a framed date window with a white background next to the crown and the brand’s logo embossed at noon.

Inside it runs the 26-jewel Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, which reaches 28,800 Vph and offers up to 41 hours of power reserve.

The watch comes attached to the new 5-link Sansovino bracelet with polished middle links, the rest matching the case, and a folding clasp with micro-adjustments engraved with the brand’s cross.

In total, 500 watch units will be available for a pre-order period on July 26th for €1,035, which then rises to €1,295.
