Tusenö Supervintage: A Bold Step Into Elegant Simplicity
Swedish watchmaker Tusenö, known for its tool-oriented timepieces like the Shellback and Windseeker, introduces a striking departure from its usual aesthetic with the Supervintage collection. This new range of hand-wound dress watches presents a unique blend of mid-century elegance, bold design cues, and thoughtful finishing—delivering refined wristwear with distinct personality.
A Sculpted Case with Modern Proportions
Each watch in the Supervintage series shares the same compact case architecture. Crafted in polished stainless steel, the case adopts a lugless, oval silhouette that evokes the elegance of vintage jewelry watches, while maintaining a gender-neutral design language. Measuring 34.50 mm wide by 40.50 mm long, and just 8.70 mm thick, the case offers a sleek profile ideal for daily wear and formal occasions alike.

The case gently curves in multiple directions, allowing it to sit snugly on the wrist. The double-domed sapphire crystal—treated with anti-reflective coating—adds to the smooth flow of the watch, while a fluted, rope-textured crown embossed with Tusenö’s “Guiding Light” emblem provides tactile detail and visual interest.
Expressive Dials Inspired by Classic Cocktails
The dials of the Supervintage collection are where the designs truly come alive. Each model is named after a cocktail, translating flavor profiles into color and texture. The design is built around a two-tone construction, featuring a frosted or granular central section surrounded by a contrasting matte chapter ring, complete with stylized Arabic numerals and a peripheral minute track.

The Mojito model features a crisp ivory center paired with a vibrant green outer ring, evoking a sense of freshness and zest. The Negroni combines a rich red inner dial with a burnt orange chapter ring, creating a bold and punchy impression. The most classic of the three, the Espresso Martini, offers a subdued aesthetic, blending a cream-toned central section with a deep coffee-brown perimeter.

Each watch includes a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock, following the same oval motif as the case. Time is indicated by domed leaf-shaped hour and minute hands, complemented by a chamfered seconds hand. Together, these elements highlight the level of detail and refinement Tusenö has pursued in this release.
A Slim Hand-Wound Heart
Inside, the Supervintage is powered by the ETA 7001, also known as the Peseux movement. This slim, hand-wound calibre is renowned for its reliability and compact dimensions, making it a natural choice for a thin dress watch. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz), it delivers a power reserve of approximately 45 hours. Tusenö has chosen the Top Grade version of the movement, which includes finishing details such as Geneva stripes and blued screws—visible only to those familiar with the calibre but appreciated by collectors.

Finishing Touches and Availability
Each Supervintage model comes fitted with quick-release leather straps, and the package includes both black and brown options. Thanks to the integrated design and the lug-free case construction, the watch retains its clean and minimalist profile regardless of which strap is attached.

The collection is available via a limited-time pre-order campaign, running from July 30 to August 6, 2025, exclusively through Tusenö’s website. During this period, the Supervintage is priced at € 999, with prices rising to € 1,099 after the campaign ends.
