TAG Heuer Pushes Boundaries With The New Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport

TAG Heuer, after the many versions of the vintage-inspired Carrera Chronograph, now presents the Extreme Sport, a modern skeletonized version.

The new Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport arrives in four versions: two in titanium with red or blue details, another in titanium with a black DLC-coated and the last in rose gold.

Housed in a 44mm diameter, 15.10mm thick and 49.70mm long case with faceted angles and intricate sides, black tachymeter ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal on front and back, crown at 3 o’clock flanked by two pushers and 100m water resistance. water.

On the openworked dial, a colourful rehaut, 3-register layout at 3-6-9 o’clock with a 30-minute counter, a running seconds and a 12-hour record respectively. A date window at 6 o’clock with a cut-off Arabic numerals disk visible along the edges and three hands in the centre.

Inside we find the Caliber T20-00 descendant of the Heuer 02 that features a column wheel, reaching 28,800 Vph and offering up to 80 hours of power reserve.

The timepieces are paired with a matching rubber strap with a titanium folding clasp with prices starting at CHF 8,000 and going up to CHF 12,000.

TAG Heuer Debuts Limited Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon With Elegant Blue Panda Dial

TAG Heuer has just brought a new Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon to the collection, a limited edition of 50 pieces with a charming blue Panda dial which the brand describes as “Pure and bright atmosphere with of the Alps”.

The newcomer follows the compact dimensions of its blue and green siblings with a Glassbox case a Bi-compax dial with two registers and a tourbillon attached to three bridges.

The big news is the white dial with a brushed circular finish on which sit polished hour markers with pips that, like the hands, are filled with Super-LumiNova. Two blue 30-minute and 12-hour counters at 3 and 9 o’clock with a snailed background matching the domed minute/second rehaut, one-minute Tourbillon at 6 o’clock, and finally a red chronograph centre seconds hand in the same tone of the brand logo at noon bellow the black “Carrera” inscription.

Housed in a 42mm diameter by 14.30mm thick stainless steel case that comes with a polished and brushed finish, wide bevels, domed sapphire crystal, signed crown at 3 o’clock flanked by two piston-style pushers, screwed open case back and 100m water resistance.

Powered by the Caliber TH20-09 automatic movement which is COSC-certified it runs at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 65 hours of power reserve. Through the sapphire crystal of the rear case, we can observe its bridges decorated with Côtes de Genéve stripes and skeletonized rotor in the shape of the brand’s shield.

The watch comes attached to a navy blue rally-style leather strap with a steel folding clamp that now hits the market with a price tag of €25,200.

TAG Heuer And Porsche Unveil Limited Edition Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963

Just a few days before the start of the 24h Le Mans, the biggest endurance race that many call the greatest race on the planet, two of the main historical protagonists linked to motorsport – TAG Heuer and Porsche, come together to bring the limited edition Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963 that celebrates endurance racing.

The new Carrera Chronograph, despite evoking all its historical connection with racing, is by far the one that presents a more contemporary and aggressive design, supported by a steel case with several black elements, a carbon fibre bezel and an open-worked dial with a tubular structure that lights up blue in the dark.

Wearing a robust mainly brushed stainless steel case measuring 44mm by 15.10mm, concave sides with black PVD coating that also extends to the crown and the two pushers on the right side. In contrast, the left profile of the case is decorated with Porsche lettering, a tachymeter bezel in carbon fibre, sapphire glass front and back and 100m water resistance.

The skeletonized dial comes with grey bridges and on them rests the usual three counters formed by a 30-minute register, a running seconds with a date window and a 12-hour indicator at 3-6-9 o’clock respectively. Applied hour markers and hands are all filled with Super-LumiNova, which also illuminates the three counters mentioned above in the dark as well as the Porsche name engraved on the bezel.

It is through the open rear glass case that we can observe the In-house Caliber TH20-00 formerly known as Heuer 02, which comes equipped with a column wheel and vertical clutch, with 24 jewels, running 28,800 Vph and offers up to 80 hours of power reserve.

The new timepiece that now joins the Heuer Carrera family comes attached to a black rubber strap, is limited to 963 units and comes with a price of CHF 9,000.

TAG Heuer Unveils Sleeker Aquaracer Professional 300 With Enhanced Features

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 now arrives redesigned, in a new, more friendly-sized case and with a new chronometer-certified movement.

It was in 2021 that we saw the last update to the collection, which now receives five new models in a 42mm stainless steel case, three of them with the time-date function and two others that add the GMT complication.

And starting with the exterior of the dive watch, it now comes with dimensions of 42 mm in diameter (just 1 mm small which may sound little), 48 mm lug-to-lug distance and 12 mm height for the date version and 13.45 mm for the GMT featuring a mainly brushed finish and polished on the bevels and crown. Twelve-sided 60-minute unidirectional bezel for the date version and 24-hour bidirectional bezel for the GMT version, sapphire crystal with a magnifier at the bottom to an easy-read of the date, screw-down crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature and protected by guards, screwed solid case back engraved with an embossed diver’s helmet and 300m of water resistance.

The textured dial replaces the previous symmetrical horizontal stripes with an asymmetrical wave pattern and comes with a sunray finish where we once again find applied hour markers, although now slightly wider, which together with the hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, which makes the first ones along with the new fractional hour hand glow green in the dark and the other two hands and the inverted triangle at noon on the bezel glow blue. Plus, a thinner chapter ring, a date window at 6 o’clock and an extra central hand for the GMT version that works in partnership with the two-tone ceramic insert bezel.

As for the different variants, the Date version is presented with a black dial with a light blue second hand, another in navy blue with an orange pointer and a last in green with a yellow hand. While the GMT variants arrive with a blue dial with a black-blue bezel or a green dial with a black-green bezel.

Inside, as you may have already noticed, they come equipped with a new movement, the TH31-00 and TH31-03 for the Date and GMT versions respectively, which are chronometer-certified, operating 28,800 Vph and offering up to 80 hours of power reserve, more than doubling the previous 38 hours.

The watches arrive on a 3-row steel bracelet with a folding clasp, being is also available with a matching rubber strap in the black and blue versions, with prices ranging between CHF 3,500 and CHF 3,700 for Date and CHF 3,900 to CHF 4,100 in GMT versions.

TAG Heuer Reveals Monaco Skeleton Chronograph With Dark Blue Dial And Titanium Case

The TAG Heuer Monaco Skeleton Chronograph now wears a black titanium case and a dark blue dial, accelerating at full speed towards the Monaco GP, which is just around the corner.

Born in 1969 with strong connections to the motorsports world, it is already in 2023 that we see the first iteration of the famous square chronograph with a skeletonized dial, later during the 2024 Watches And Wonders two other much more complex interactions were presented with Rattrapante but with prices reaching the sky.

The version that now arrives wears a Grade 2 Titanium sandblasted case that comes with a black DLC, presenting the traditional dimensions of 39mm wide, 15mm thick and 47.40mm lug-to-lug distance. Domed sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature and flanked by two rectangular pushers, sapphire case back and 100m water resistance.

On the open-worked dial, we find dark blue bridges that house a flange with a minute track and three registers, which adds a 30-minute counter, running seconds with a date aperture and a 12-hour register at 3-6-9 o’clock respectively. Two centre hands that, like the hour markers and date window, are filled with Super-LumiNova and finally a yellow chronograph centre seconds hand matching the other two small hands assigned to the chronograph.

At its heart runs the automatic movement Caliber Heuer 02 with column wheel and vertical clutch, which runs 28,800 Vph and offers up to 80 hours of power reserve. It comes decorated with rhodium-plated bridges and a blackened skeletonized rotor with yellow lettering.

The new TAG Heuer Monaco that joins the permanent collection comes attached to a dark blue calfskin and rubber strap with a price tag of CHF 11,000.

Kith And TAG Heuer Bring Back Bold Formula 1 Watch Collection

If you are from the 80s or 90s generation and are a fan of watches, you will hardly have forgotten the fun and colourful Tag Heuer Formula 1 watches, housed in a stainless steel case, fibreglass bezel, Quartz movement and an entry-level price. In addition to being stylish and eye-catching, those small watches were Swiss-made and at the same time, they were cool, to the delight of many.

And today, almost four decades later, TAG Heuer joins forces with Kith to bring back the iconic Tag Heuer Formula 1 in 10 limited editions, which remains faithful to the old lines with a bold design and lots of color.

Although the brand chose to turn to old suppliers to bring the former steel case within the same moulds, the brand also knew how to innovate, replacing the old plastic glass with modern sapphire glass and the same applies to the retro plastic strap which now gives way to a contemporary rubber strap.

On the outside, the watch once again wears the original 35mm wide stainless steel case that comes with a sandblast finish, aforementioned sapphire crystal, unidirectional bezel with diving scale and pip-lume at noon, screw-down crown at 3 o’clock with guards, screwed solid case back and 200m water resistance.

The dial, which in seven editions comes with a vertical stripes pattern, is presented with three centre hands that, like the hour markers at 6-9-12 o’clock in the shape of the brand’s shield, come filled with luminescent material, while the position next to the crown is top up with a date window. For the first time, the Swiss watch brand dropped the “TAG” from its logo at noon, replacing it with “Kith” and adding “Just Us”, Kith’s motto, followed by “Limited Edition” at 6 o’clock.

Inside there are no secrets and as a winning team doesn’t move, the brand returns to its roots bringing a Swiss Quartz movement.

Seven of the editions are sold exclusively by Kith and its partners, including versions with the brightest colours, including one all black and two of them coming with a steel bracelet, two other editions that come with a black PVD case and bezel in green or blue matching the rubber strap will be sold exclusively at TAG Heuer and its retail partners. And finally, a version faithful to the 1986 original that comes with a steel case and bracelet, a black bezel with red accents and an eggshell dial that will be sold by both brands.

The watches arrive in special packaging with a unit price of CHF 1,500, being limited to 250 and 350 units for the editions sold exclusively by Kith when accompanied by a rubber strap or steel bracelet respectively, 825 units for each of the exclusive editions for TAG Heuer and 1,350 units for the version sold by both. There is also the possibility of purchasing all 10 watches together in a special set that costs CHF 18,000 and will be available in 75 units.

Introducing The TAG Heuer Carrera Chrono 39MM Glassbox Panda Dial

Another of the novelties brought by TAG Heuer this year to Watches And Wonders is a new steel Carrera Chronograph that, along with the Skipper, is once again part of the Glassbox concept and comes with a Panda dial.

Inspired by the model ref. 7753 from the late 60s, the new chronograph once again wears a round case measuring 39mm wide by 13.86mm high, which features a polished and brushed finish, domed sapphire crystal, crown with the brand’s signature and two pushers, see-through case back and 100m waterproof.

The silver-toned dial comes with a sunray effect, two black registers with an azure finish at 3-9 o’clock, a small seconds at 6 o’clock with a date window at the bottom, rhodium-plated applied hour markers and hands filled with Super-LumiNova, a chronograph centre seconds hand with a red tip matching the other two hands assigned to the chronograph and a tachymeter inner bezel.

Like the Skipper, the new 39mm Carrera Chronograph comes equipped with the Caliber Heuer 02 automatic movement (ref. TH20-00) which offers a robust 80 hours of power reserve.

The watch comes attached to a steel bracelet with a folding clasp and with a price tag of €6,500.

TAG Heuer Unveils Titanium Split-Seconds Chronographs For 55th Monaco Anniversary

TAG Heuer celebrates 55 years of the Monaco collection with two new Split-Seconds Chronograph models with a Titanium case and a skeletonized dial in red or blue.

The split-seconds, also known as Rattrapante, is a complication that allows two separate time intervals to be measured simultaneously, a complication that has been present in several of the brand’s references for more than a century, first gaining prominence in 1916 at the Olympic Games and later in the 60s in motorsport.

The new Monaco’s wear a typical square case measuring 41mm wide, 15.20mm high and 47.90mm lug-to-lug distance in Grade 5 Titanium whose material also extends to the movement’s various components and which makes the case weigh just 85g, sapphire glass on both sides, crown at 3 o’clock flanked by two rectangular pushers, while on the left side of the case we find an extra pusher with guards and 30m of water resistance.

On the dial we can find Titanium arches, a circular minute track with red hour markers and lumed-tips, rhodium-plated semi-skeletonized hour and minute hands filled with Super-LumiNova and red tips, three registers at 3-6-9 hours formed by a 25-minute counter, a running seconds and a 12-hour register and finally two central hands, one for the chronograph and the other for split-seconds.

The red version comes with a case with a Black DLC brushed finish on the outside to match the tone of the dial’s arches, where we can find two black registers at 3-9 o’clock and a red split-seconds hand in the same tone as the other two hands assigned to the chronograph.

In the blue variant, the dial’s arcs are presented in gradient blue whose tone also extends to the split-seconds hand and two white counters assigned to the chronograph and which come with blue hands.

Inside runs the high-frequency Caliber TH81-00 automatic movement, reaching 36,000 Vph and offering between 55 and 65 hours of power reserve, which can be admired through the open rear case highlighting the skeletonized rotor in the shape of the brand’s crest.

The new Monacos arrived attached to a calfskin strap with a textile pattern in the colour of the dial from June 2024 for the price. €166,000.
