TAG Heuer Pushes Boundaries With The New Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport
TAG Heuer, after the many versions of the vintage-inspired Carrera Chronograph, now presents the Extreme Sport, a modern skeletonized version.
The new Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport arrives in four versions: two in titanium with red or blue details, another in titanium with a black DLC-coated and the last in rose gold.
Housed in a 44mm diameter, 15.10mm thick and 49.70mm long case with faceted angles and intricate sides, black tachymeter ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal on front and back, crown at 3 o’clock flanked by two pushers and 100m water resistance. water.
On the openworked dial, a colourful rehaut, 3-register layout at 3-6-9 o’clock with a 30-minute counter, a running seconds and a 12-hour record respectively. A date window at 6 o’clock with a cut-off Arabic numerals disk visible along the edges and three hands in the centre.
Inside we find the Caliber T20-00 descendant of the Heuer 02 that features a column wheel, reaching 28,800 Vph and offering up to 80 hours of power reserve.
The timepieces are paired with a matching rubber strap with a titanium folding clasp with prices starting at CHF 8,000 and going up to CHF 12,000.
