Introducing The MoonSwatch Mission To Earthphase Moonshine Gold
Swatch expands its MoonSwatch lineup with a new seasonal model, the Mission to Earthphase Moonshine Gold, a release that combines winter-inspired detailing with the familiar Bioceramic construction of the collection. This new edition officially arrives on December 4th, but its availability is tied to weather conditions in Switzerland. After the launch date, the watch will be offered only on days when snowfall is recorded in the country, and select Swatch boutiques around the world will release stock based on these conditions. Sales will continue until March 20th, 2026, the last day of winter.

A defining characteristic of this model is found on the twin-moon display positioned between 2 and 3 o’clock. Both moons are produced in Omega’s Moonshine Gold, but one features a snowflake engraving created exclusively for this edition. Because the snowflake motif is individually engraved for each piece, no two watches are exactly the same, giving the model a distinctive seasonal identity.

As for its construction, the Mission to Earthphase Moonshine Gold retains the 42 mm Bioceramic case that characterizes the MoonSwatch series. The shape preserves the asymmetrical silhouette associated with the Omega Speedmaster Professional. The case is finished in white, and it is paired with a white opaline dial, resulting in a bright, winter-like aesthetic. The watch is completed with a white rubber strap that includes a matching Bioceramic loop.

In terms of complications, the model follows the configuration of the other Mission to Earthphase releases. The twin-moonphase display, rendered in Moonshine Gold for this edition, sits at the upper right side of the dial, while the earthphase indicator occupies the 10 o’clock position. The earthphase complication takes a reverse approach to traditional moonphase displays by depicting how Earth would appear when viewed from the Moon. This interplay of moonphase and earthphase elements adds visual depth to the dial and brings an astronomical theme to the quartz-powered chronograph.

The hour markers and hands feature green-glowing Super-LumiNova, ensuring visibility in low light. Additionally, the watch contains a playful hidden detail: when exposed to UV light, the area near Snoopy and Woodstock reveals the phrase “I beat everybody…”. The same message also appears in blue beneath the battery cover on the case back, continuing the line’s tradition of including subtle Easter eggs.

Inside the watch is a reliable Swatch quartz movement, which keeps the dimensions and weight in line with the rest of the MoonSwatch family. The white rubber strap offers a cohesive look and comfortable daily wear.
The Swatch MoonSwatch Mission to Earthphase Moonshine Gold is priced at €385. More information is available through Swatch’s official channels.
