ProTek 1210: The Ultimate US Marine Corps Tactical Watch
The official watch of the US Marine Corps – ProTek 1210 series is back and now equipped with an automatic movement retaining all its previous resistance and reliability.
The robust 42mm tactical watch comes in a lightweight and highly hardened Carbon composite case, with unidirectional bezel and pip lume at noon, screw-down crown with guards, screwed steel case back engraved with the USMC coat of arms and a powerful 300m of watertightness.
The textured dial comes with four colour variants, in green, red, brown or black and on it we can find white Arabic numerals in two scales, a larger one from 1 to 12 o’clock and a smaller one from 13 to 24 o’clock, with luminous tips such as as the three central hands come filled with ProTek’s ProGlo Tritium lighting that even deprived of light is capable of glowing in the dark for 25 years.
At its heart runs the 24-jewel Seiko NH35 automatic movement that reaches 21,600 Vph and offers up to 41 hours of power reserve.
The watch comes attached to a 22mm wide black rubber strap that tapers to 20mm next to the buckle accentuating its stealthy appearance and is available for USD 695.
