Paulin Watches Launches Pop-Colored Module D and E

Paulin Watches, a Glasgow-based microbrand known for its vibrant colours and unique designs, has introduced its latest models, Module D and E, at the Windup Watch Fair New York. These watches, offered in two sizes and various variants, combine a playful aesthetic with impressive technical craftsmanship.

The new releases are available in a 35mm case with either quartz or hand-wound mechanical movements and in a larger 39mm case featuring an automatic movement. Both sizes sport a Tonneau-shaped stainless steel case with a brushed finish, hesalite crystal, and a fluted crown at 3 o’clock. With dimensions of 35mm x 8.20mm x 40mm for the smaller size and 39mm x 9.70mm x 45mm for the larger one, these watches are built to last, boasting 50m of water resistance and an open case back.

The dial designs stand out with their contrasting colour schemes. Module D features a black lacquered brass dial with blue and white hands, yellow indexes, and a red central seconds hand, while the hand-wound variant showcases a small second subdial at 6 o’clock. On the other hand, Module E comes with a brushed rhodium dial, orange hands for the hours and seconds, blue minute hands, and orange luminescent markers.

Internally, the 35mm quartz model is powered by the reliable 7-jewel ETA 955.112 calibre, operating at 32.768 Hz. The hand-wound variant houses the 17-jewel ETA 7001 movement, offering a 45-hour power reserve and operating at 21,600 Vph. The larger 39mm automatic model is equipped with the 24-jewel La Joux-Perret G101 movement, which runs at 28,800 Vph and provides up to 68 hours of power reserve.

These watches come with a choice of a black fabric strap or a steel mesh bracelet, and prices start at €468.95 for the quartz variant, reaching €1,031.95 for the hand-wound version.
