I don’t know why, but the review of the new Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Perpetual Calendar has been delayed. As they say, we always leave the best for last—and this watch certainly belongs in that category. While we would have loved to see it in a slightly smaller case, the world isn’t perfect, and neither are our preferences. Still, there’s a lot to admire here.

Unveiled at Watches & Wonders 2025, the latest addition to the Toric collection elevates the art of traditional watchmaking with a masterful interpretation of one of horology’s most complex complications. Encased in precious metal, the timepiece reflects the collection’s signature design language—an elegant blend of symmetry, minimalism, and mechanical sophistication that reveals the depth of craftsmanship at its core.

The Toric Perpetual Calendar is available in two 40.6mm case variations: 950 platinum and 18k rose gold, each measuring a svelte 10.9mm in height. Both feature the Toric’s distinctive knurled bezel—a signature design element rooted in classical architecture and geometry. The case lines are polished throughout, contributing to its role as an elegant dress watch.

At the heart of the watch is a manually wound movement: the Calibre PF733. This rose gold movement integrates a perpetual calendar module atop the base architecture used in the Toric Small Seconds model. Comprising 265 components, the calibre operates at 4 Hz and offers a 60-hour power reserve from twin barrels. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, revealing geometric bridges adorned with the brand’s proprietary Côtes de Fleurier finishing and a sandblasted gold mainplate.
