Parmigiani Fleurier Presents The New Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date
Parmigiani Fleurier, unlike what happened in last year’s edition of Watches And Wonders presenting 6 new Tonda watches, this year decided to bring just two additions to the collection, first the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date and then the Tonda PF Skeletonized on which we will talk about in another article.
As the name suggests, the new Tonda now comes without a date window on the dial, leaving all the protagonism to the brand’s hand-placed barley-grain pattern, which here is painted in Golden Sienna. In it we can find applied rhodium-plated hour markers, 18k gold Delta hands semi-skeletonized with rhodium plated, a recessed minute track on the edges and also the brand logo applied to the noon mark.
The watch wears a 40mm round stainless steel case that features a highly polished finish, a platinum bezel with a fluted surface underneath, sapphire crystal on both sides, and a screw-down crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature and 100m water resistance.
At its heart runs the automatic movement Caliber PF703 micro-rotor, which operates 21,600 Vph and offers up to 2 days of power reserve. It is decorated on the gold rotor with the same barley-grain guilloché that we find on the dial while the bridges are filled with Côtes de Genève.
Lastly, the watch comes attached to an integrated steel bracelet with a folding clasp and comes with a price tag of CHF 23,500.
