Orient Star has unveiled a new limited edition of its M42 Diver, crafted in titanium as part of the Sports M42 collection. This edition follows the 2021 and 2022 stainless steel versions, which featured white and gradient turquoise dials, and continues the brand’s tribute to the 1964 Calendar Auto Orient and the 60th anniversary of Orient Star’s dive watches.

This new Orient Star M42 Diver stands out with its lightweight titanium case, which measures 41mm in diameter, 14.30mm thick, and 49.60mm long. The case is protected with a durable coating and features a matte finish for added toughness. The watch also includes a unidirectional diving bezel with a black aluminum insert, golden scale, and a lumed pip at 12 o’clock. The crown, placed at 3 o’clock, is screw-down and bears the brand’s signature, while the screw-down case back comes with special engravings marking it as a limited edition, complete with its serial number. Water resistance is set at 200 meters, adhering to the ISO 6425 standards for dive watches.

Orient Expands Bambino 38MM Line With Fresh Pastel Dials And Steel Bracelets

Orient brings a new trio of 38mm Bambino in pastel tones with summer in mind.

The Bambino continues to be known as an affordable dress watch with a simple, elegant design that looks much more expensive and puts many premium brands to shame.

One of the main complaints from fans was the size of the case, a problem that was resolved in 2022 with the arrival of two new sizes of 38 and 36mm that joined the original 40mm, which thus began to embrace a larger audience.

The classic collection of which the Bambino is part includes countless models of different sizes, complications and mechanical or quartz movements. The 38mm model with time and date functions was available in 10 variants, which the new trio now joins.

The new Bambino comes with dial tones of Grass Green, Light Blue and Cooper bordering on pink, with a sunburst finish, faceted hour markers, Dauphine hands, a centre seconds hand that works in partnership with the minute track rehaut, a date window with white background next to the crown and the inscriptions of the brand logo followed by “Automatic” of the movement at noon and “Water Resistance” at 6 o’clock.

On the outside, we find the usual round stainless steel case with a mainly polished finish, 38.40mm in diameter, 12.50mm thick and 44mm long, smooth bezel, slender lugs, domed glass, fluted crown at 3 o’clock, open case back and 30m water resistance.

Powered by the in-house F6724 automatic movement, it features an accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day, operating at a frequency of 3 Hz and offering up to 40 hours of power reserve.

The new Bambinos come attached to a 3-link steel bracelet with a folding clasp, which is an absolute first, as the models present in the 38mm collection until now all come with a leather strap.

The watches are available today in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers for €330.

Following the success of the M34 collection, inspired by the Perseus star cluster, Orient Star now introduces the M45 collection, drawing inspiration from the celestial beauty of the Pleiades star cluster.

The watch comes in a black case with a gradient grey textured dial with moon phases.

The dial is crafted through advanced techniques that create a starry effect inspired by the M45 Pleiades star cluster. It is stamped with intricate patterns that shift with light, mimicking twinkling stars. A specialized gradation machine applies unique paint to transition the dial from grey at the centre to black at the edges. Finally, a thicker, transparent coating is applied, adding depth and evoking the vastness of the universe.

Orient Star Presents The Modern Skeleton In Four New Shades

The Orient Star Modern Skeleton debuted in 2014 completes 10 years of life this year, now arriving with four new colours on the dial, including silver, ivory and champagne that join the permanent collection and also an all-black limited edition of 600 units.

The watches come with the expected open heart dial. On it, we can find applied faceted hour markers with lume tips, two centre hands also filled with luminescent material, small seconds at 6 o’clock, a power reserve indicator just below the twelve Roman hour marker and an open balance wheel at 9 o’clock.

The watch is housed in a 41mm wide, 12mm high and 49mm long round stainless steel case, smooth bezel, sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock, open case back and 100m water resistance.

As for the different variants, we find one in full steel with a silver dial, another in steel with elements such as the bezel, crown and indexes plated in yellow gold and a champagne dial, another in steel with details in rose gold and ivory dial, and last but not least, one in black-coated steel with black dial.

Orient Bambino Refreshes Line With 38MM Small Seconds Model

For a long time now, the Orient Bambino has been one of the main market references in the dress watch category with affordable prices. If until now one of the main complaints was its case size of over 40mm, the brand has just overcome this problem with the new 38mm Bambino Small Seconds.

The independent Japanese brand that is part of the Seiko Group, follows the same lines as the mother house, being recognized for producing good quality watches, with attractive designs and at entry-level prices.

The new Orient Bambino arrives in a stainless steel case measuring 38.40mm in diameter and 12mm thick, with a polished surface and brushed sides, smooth bezel, domed mineral glass, fluted crown at 3 o’clock, open case back and 30m water resistance.

The dial, instead of the previous Arabic numerals, now comes with applied Roman numerals in the same tone as the case material, two central hands, a small seconds at 6 o’clock, a date window next to the crown and a minute track next to the edges that also comes with seconds track.

The renewed Bambino arrives in four variants, one that comes with a silvery white dial with blue hands, another with an ivory dial also with blue hands, one with a black dial with a silver sub-dial and blue hand and finally one that comes in a gold-plated steel case, silvery white dial and gilt hands.

Inside, the watches share the Caliber F6222 automatic movement that operates at 21,600 Vph, presenting an accuracy of -15 to +25 seconds per day and offering up to 40 hours of power reserve.
