Nodus Updates The Sector Deep With Damascus Steel And New Movement
Independent watch brand Nodus has unveiled the new Sector Deep Damascus, a more premium interpretation of its professional dive watch that combines a stealth-inspired design with upgraded specifications and distinctive materials.

Part of the versatile Sector collection, the Sector Deep was developed as the most water-resistant and dive-focused model within the lineup. This latest Damascus edition enhances the formula with a DLC-coated case, Damascus steel bezel, and a new automatic movement with an extended power reserve.
Compact Dimensions With Professional Dive Capability
The watch retains the collection’s recognizable case construction. The stainless steel mid-case measures 38 mm in diameter, while the bezel expands outward to 42 mm, creating a larger visual presence on the wrist while maintaining compact wearing proportions.
The case features a gunmetal grey DLC coating, giving the watch a darker appearance without going fully blacked-out. Built for serious underwater use, the Sector Deep Damascus delivers an impressive 500 meters of water resistance.

A key highlight of the watch is its Damascus steel bezel insert, which showcases the layered metal’s characteristic wave-like patterns beneath a black DLC coating. The finish remains subtle while adding texture and individuality to the design.
The bezel itself is designed with dual functionality, combining a traditional 60-minute dive timer with a 12-hour scale that can also be used to track a second time zone.
Functional Dial Designed For Maximum Legibility
The dial adopts a clean and highly legible layout centered around underwater visibility. Its black surface is paired with large square hour markers filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability in low-light conditions.

White hour and seconds hands contrast sharply against the dark dial, while the bright orange minute hand ensures immediate visibility during dives. The color choice is particularly fitting for a dive watch, as orange is widely recognized for its strong underwater visibility.
A date window positioned at 6 o’clock integrates neatly into the dial thanks to its matching black background, preserving the symmetry and overall clarity of the display.
Upgraded Automatic Movement
Inside the Sector Deep Damascus is the Miyota 8315 automatic movement, replacing the Seiko NH35 used in previous versions of the model.

The upgraded calibre offers a 60-hour power reserve, improving significantly over the 41-hour reserve of its predecessor. The movement is protected by a solid screw-down caseback engraved with wave-inspired detailing and technical information.
Price And Availability
The Nodus Sector Deep Damascus is priced at approximately € 694 (excluding taxes), representing a step up from the standard Sector Deep models while maintaining competitive value within the professional dive watch segment.

With its combination of compact dimensions, 500m water resistance, Damascus steel bezel, and upgraded movement, the new release delivers a more refined take on Nodus’ capable modern diver.
