Ming, which celebrates five years of existence this year, has just announced the launch of 37.07, which serves to mark this milestone.
The new Ming 37.07, whose mosaic dial is the “star of the show”, is based on the design of its first watch, the 17.01, which was characterized by being minimalist and based on a manual movement.
And starting with the glowing and eye-catching dial, it features a three-layer printed mosaic construction, filled with generous layers of Super-LumiNova in different shades of blue, which also extend to both the central hour and minute hands and the thin circle printed on sapphire crystal with 5-minute spacing for easy reading of the time and which “floats” on a peripheral grey background.
Outside the new Ming comes with a 38mm diameter stainless steel case with a smooth bezel, short lugs, fluted crown, sapphire crystal on the front and the rear and 100m of water resistance.
Inside, it is powered by the Caliber SW210.M1 manual movement designed by Sellita for Ming, which operates at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 40 hours of power reserve, and which you can now see through the open case back where the anthracite skeletonized bridges stand out.
The watch is offered with a beige rubber strap made by Jean Rousseau.
Although Ming 37.07 is not a conventional limited edition, it will only be available unlimitedly in two scarce 15-minute time slots each on July 29, 2-2.15 AM GMT and 1-1.15 PM GMT worldwide. During which interested parties will be able to order the watch through the brand’s website, requiring a non-refundable deposit of half the value (CHF 1.625), and whose shipments start from May 2023.
