Introducing The Fratello X Minase M-3 Nori

Minase M-3 Nori is the result of the most recent collaboration between the Japanese watchmaking brand and Fratello Watches, the well-known Dutch online publication that needs no introduction.

Minase is a micro brand that was born in 2005, dedicated to producing watches with a special focus on their exterior (case and dial) that makes the search for beauty its maximum exponent. This justifies an annual production of watches of less than 500 units.

This is the third collaboration between the two brands, as the previous one dated last year comes in a tonneau-shaped case with mirror polishing on the sides and bezel and a brushed finish on the surfaces. Its dimensions of 39 mm in diameter and 10.50 mm in thickness, house a smooth bezel, front sapphire crystal and rear solid case engraved with the name of the two brands and in the centre an illustration with the Minase logo, recessed crown engraved with the watch brand’s signature, and 100m water resistance.

The beautiful hand-painted green dial features an irregular brushed look inspired by sushi seaweed. There are applied polishing hour markers that, like brushed hands with polishing edges, are filled with luminescent material in white tones that match the brand’s lettering at 12 o’clock and “Japan Made” at the bottom. Finally, the centre second hand comes with its tip painted orange alluding to Fratello’s origins.

Inside, unlike the exterior, there is no room for vanities, running the reliable Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, which comes without a date window, operating 28,800 Vph and offering a modest 42 hours of power reserve.

The watch is attached to a khaki-green Nubuck strap by Fratello with a Minase signature pin buckle.

This exclusive edition is priced at €2,988.70 and will be on sale for just one week, with that period having already started and will end on October 4th at 4 PM CEST.
