Introducing The Maen X Worn & Wound Manhattan Limited Edition

Worn & Wound, together with the Swedish micro-watch brand Maen, known for producing watches in moderate sizes, have just presented two limited editions of 75 pieces each of the Manhattan model.

For those who don’t know, the Manhattan model is presented in a 37mm wide square steel case that comes with an integrated flat link bracelet.

The two new exclusive editions once again wear the usual steel case with smooth bezel, mainly brushed and polished surface finish on the bevels, octagonal crown with the brand’s ‘M’ signature, sapphire crystal and 50m water resistance, with no record of any changes externally.

On the dial it’s a different story, starting with the shiny fumé background in blue or burgundy, without a date window, and with a new layout that comes with a thin silver ring with hour markers which is complemented by wide markers at 3-6- 9-12 hours filled with the same luminescent material that also brings the hour and minute hands to life in the dark. Completing the dial is the centre seconds hand and the brand’s signature printed in white at 12 o’clock.

Inside, it continues to come powered by the reliable Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement that reaches 28,800 Vph and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve.

The watches, which, as already mentioned, come with an integrated 3-link steel bracelet with the folding clasp with the brand’s signature, can be purchased exclusively on the Worn & Wound website for the price of €864.50, which represents just a prize of little more €15 compared to regular Manhattan models.

Our Opinion

The two exclusive Manhattans, which maintain all the class and elegance that characterizes the collection, arrive in a different configuration with a more discreet dial, which we really like. It is also worth highlighting the reliable internal movement and the interesting price, which makes the Maen Manhattan an interesting option for those looking for a credible option for a watch with an integrated bracelet without the risk of breaking the budget.

Of the two colour options, burgundy would probably be our choice, however blue is also very appealing and therefore either option will certainly make the buyer happy.
