Jaeger-LeCoultre Expands The Master Control Line With New Chronometre Models
Jaeger-LeCoultre introduces a new chapter in its Master Control collection with the launch of three Chronometre models: the Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar, the Master Control Chronometre Date Power Reserve, and the Master Control Chronometre Date.
These releases emphasize the manufacture’s expertise in movement development, precision timekeeping, and refined case construction, while also debuting a new integrated bracelet design and enhanced performance certification.
Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar
At the top of the range sits the Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar, offered in both stainless steel and pink gold. The watch is housed in a 39mm case measuring just 9.2mm in thickness, combining polished bevels with satin-brushed surfaces to create a refined contrast.

The dial is organized around four subdials that provide a complete perpetual calendar display. The month and year are positioned at 12 o’clock, while the day of the week appears at 3 o’clock and the date is placed at 9 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, a moonphase complication completes the layout, adding both functionality and visual depth. The stainless steel version features a blue-grey gradient sunray dial with azuré-finished subdials, whereas the pink gold variant adopts a warmer tone with matching precious metal accents and a textured moonphase display.
Powering the watch is the in-house Caliber 868, an automatic perpetual calendar movement with a thickness of just 4.72mm. It is engineered to automatically account for varying month lengths and leap years, requiring no manual correction until the year 2100, provided the watch remains continuously wound. All calendar indications are synchronized and can be adjusted via a corrector discreetly integrated into the case.
Master Control Chronometre Date Power Reserve
The Master Control Chronometre Date Power Reserve introduces a more technical display while retaining the same 39mm case dimensions and finishing as the perpetual calendar model.

Its dial is defined by two symmetrically positioned subdials. The power reserve indicator is located at 9 o’clock, while the date display sits at 3 o’clock, creating a balanced and highly legible layout. A notable feature of the power reserve indicator is the inclusion of a red warning zone, which provides a clear visual cue when the movement is approaching the end of its autonomy.
This model is powered by the newly developed Caliber 738, an automatic movement operating at a frequency of 4 Hz and offering a power reserve of up to 70 hours. With a thickness of 4.97 mm, it maintains a slim profile while delivering extended autonomy and stable chronometric performance.
Master Control Chronometre Date
The most streamlined model in the collection is the Master Control Chronometre Date, which focuses on essential timekeeping functions.

It features a slightly smaller 38 mm case with a thickness of 8.40 mm, enhancing comfort and wearability on the wrist. The dial presents central hours, minutes, and seconds, complemented by a date aperture positioned at 3 o’clock. The design combines applied indices with Arabic numerals, resulting in a clean and balanced aesthetic. The stainless steel version is paired with a blue gradient dial, while the pink gold model features a warm brown tone that complements the case material.
Integrated Bracelet Design
All three models are equipped with a newly developed integrated bracelet that reflects the same attention to detail as the cases. The three-link construction alternates between satin-brushed flat surfaces and polished angular accents, creating a dynamic interplay of light. These polished elements subtly echo the geometry of the Dauphine hands and applied indices, reinforcing the overall design coherence. The bracelet tapers toward the clasp, improving both ergonomics and wearing comfort.

Chronometric Performance and HPG Certification
Each model in the collection is certified by the COSC, ensuring a high standard of precision.

In addition, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduces its High Precision Guarantee (HPG), a proprietary certification designed to evaluate performance under real-world conditions. The testing protocol includes exposure to simulated altitude variations ranging from sea level up to approximately 1,000 meters, as well as resistance to multi-directional shocks typically between 25G and 50G. The watches are also tested across multiple wearing positions to replicate daily use, while temperature variations from 18°C to 35°C are applied to assess stability under different environmental conditions.
Pricing
The Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar is priced at € 39,500 in stainless steel and € 72,500 in pink gold. The Master Control Chronometre Date Power Reserve in stainless steel is available for € 14,700. The Master Control Chronometre Date is positioned as the entry point to the collection, with pricing set at € 12,200 in stainless steel and € 45,500 in pink gold.
Final Thoughts
With these new Master Control Chronometre models, Jaeger-LeCoultre reinforces its reputation for technical mastery and refined watchmaking. The combination of slim in-house calibers, practical complications, integrated bracelet design, and enhanced precision standards marks a significant evolution within the collection.
