The New Hermès H08 Wears Sportier And Lighter

Hermés renews its H08 model, which now comes with four new variants, the new H08 is now dressed in a resistant glass fibre composite case coated with aluminium and slate powder.

On the outside, the 39mm diameter, 11mm thick and 42mm lug-to-lug distance case feature a polished dark grey ceramic bezel, crown at 3 o’clock, sapphire case back and 100m water resistance.

It is on the textured black dial that the new variants stand out, featuring details in green, yellow, orange or blue that matches the tone of the rubber strap. Among the colourful elements are the characteristic arrow-shaped centre seconds hand, the hour markers and the thin ring that separates the sapphire crystal from the bezel. To finish the dial, it also comes with applied Arabic numerals made of the same material as the case, gold hands with a black varnished finish filled with lume and a date window at 4 ½ o’clock.

At the heart of the Hermés H08 beats the Caliber H1837 with an automatic movement that operates at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 50 hours of power reserve thanks to its two barrels.

As mentioned above, the watch is attached to a rubber strap with a woven texture and a titanium DLC-coated butterfly clasp.

The new Hermés H08 will be available from October in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers for €7,000.
