Franck Muller’s latest creation is the new, a limited edition produced in collaboration with the Dutch artist who also gives the watch its name.

This exclusive edition of 50 pieces that try to express the worlds of Franck Muller (FM) and Loes Van Delf (LVD), is well reflected in the watch dial that reveals the result when art and time come together.

The dial is designed with the artist’s beloved character ‘PjiPje’ whose 26 different colours from the artist’s original work have been carefully transposed one by one onto the watch’s screen and blend with FM’s ‘Color Dream Numerals’. On the dial, we can also find a black stepped inner bezel with hour markers and Arabic numerals in white, the brand inscriptions with FM at noon and LVD at 6 o’clock, and finally blackened Daphine hands skeletonized and filled with luminescent material.

On the outside, the watch wears a Vanguard titanium case measuring 43mm by 53mm and 9.30 mm thick that comes with a black PVD finish, fluted crown at 3 o’clock, sapphire crystal on both sides and 30m water resistance.

It is powered by the 191-component MVT FM 2536-SC automatic movement, which runs at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 42 hours of power reserve. Decorated with Côtes de Genève on the bridges and rotor it can be admired through the open case back which comes engraved with individual numbering.

The watch, attached to a black alligator leather strap, is accompanied by a 90cm by 90cm art print signed by the artist.

Franck Muller brings three limited editions of Vanguard Oltremare that pay tribute to the Mediterranean Sea.

The new watches that arrive at the traditional Vanguard case come dressed in different materials, one integrated bracelet titanium edition, another rose gold edition and finally one in black titanium. They all share a point which is the blue dial tries to recreate the tone of the waters of that sea.

The 41mm wide case features hide lugs, sapphire glass on both sides, a fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature, and 30m of water resistance.

At Sunburst blue dial, we can find applied baton hour markers in the same tone of the case material, centre hour and minute hands filled with Super-LumiNova, running seconds at 6 o’clock, a raised minute track, and the brand’s lettering at noon.

Inside operates the Manufacture Calibre FM 708 of 136 components, which operates 21,600 Vph and offers up to 38 hours of reserve. The automatic movement comes decorated with Côtes de Genève and can be enjoyed through the rear open case.

As already mentioned, the Titanium version comes accompanied by a bracelet in the same material, while the rose gold and black titanium versions come stuck with a Suede leather strap matching the tone of the case.

Watches will be available in a selected set of retailers in Italy, Greece, Malta, Morocco and Argentina and are limited to 50 pieces in the regular version in Titanium and to 30 pieces of each of the other versions in rose gold and black titanium.

Once again Franck Muller joins forces with Hom Nguyen, the French artist of Vietnamese origin to mark the 20th anniversary of the Crazy Hours collection by the Swiss watchmaker.

The Vanguard Crazy Hours by Hom Nguyen it is a limited edition of five watches, available in four different materials, stainless steel, titanium, ceramic and 18K rose gold, and in three different sizes, 41mm, 43mm and 45mm. Depending on the finishing, each piece is limited to 50 or 100 units.

In addition to the materials used and the random arrangement of Arabic numerals on the dial that works in partnership with a jumping hour hand that sets the collection apart, this celebratory edition also features the numerals designed with the usual pattern of the talented French painter, whose lines embody the trajectories of human lives.

Inside, the watches are equipped with a bidirectional self-winding movement that offers up to 42 hours of power reserve.

The watches are attached to a leather strap that matches the background tone of each watch dial.

If you are a lover of vintage watches and remember the golden age of Franck Muller chronographs in the 90s equipped with the brilliant Lemania movements then we have good news, as the Swiss watch brand in collaboration with Grail Watch has just unveiled a set of three chronographs that are a revival of some of their iconic models from that era.

The three chronographs now presented are proof of Franck Muller’s passion for this type of timepiece and have roots in his historic 36 and 37mm chronographs, which were decorated with Breguet numerals on the dials and inside operated by Lemania movements, and which by at that time, they also equipped many other prestigious brands such as Patek Philippe and Omega, among others.

But let’s get down to business: among the new chronographs are the Franck Muller Bi-Compax Chronograph and the Tri-Compax Chronograph each limited to 50 pieces, and finally, the Franck Muller Double-Sided Rattrapante Chronograph range limited to 30 pieces. These timepieces can be purchased individually or together as a set, there are 10 sets available.

Franck Muller Bi-Compax Chronograph

On the outside, it comes with a stainless steel case measuring 39mm in diameter and 10.95mm thick, with an alternating brushed and polished finish, a large fluted crown at 3 o’clock flanked by two pump pushers, sapphire glass on the front and on the numbered case back.

The silvery white gréné dial features a railway track-style tachymeter scale, silver applied Breguet numerals at 6 and 12 o’clock and dots at remaining hours, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a running seconds at 9, blue leaf hands and the brand inscriptions at 12 o’clock and “Antimagnetic” at 6.

Inside operates the Caliber FM 2759 based on the movement Lemania 1874, which runs at 21,600 Vph and offers up to 40 hours of power reserve.

This Bi-Compax is offered with a brown leather strap priced at USD 19,500.

Frank Muller Tri-Compax Chronograph

On the outside, it presents exactly the same case with the same dimensions and configuration as the Bi-Compax Chronograph.

On the dial, the differences are notable, featuring a black grené dial with a white printed tachymeter scale, three registers instead of the Bi-Compax’s two, comprising a 30-minute counter at three o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 and a running seconds at 9. Silver applied hour indexes in the form of a dot and an isolated Breguet numeral marking 12 o’clock, central leaf hands and lastly the brand inscriptions at 12 o’clock.

Inside, operates the Caliber FM 2758 which is based on the Lemania 1874  with exactly the same characteristics of the movement of Bi-Compax.

The watch is offered on a leather strap matching the tone of the dial and is priced at USD 20,500.

Franck Muller Double Sided Rattrapante Chronograph

Like the other two chronographs, it is presented in a stainless steel case measuring 39mm in diameter but 13.45mm thick and with a distinctive design, evidenced by the wide bezel, straight thin lugs and crown with a push button.

The dial features two sides, the front comes with a black sunburst dial, with a silver-white outer ring with a tachymeter scale and three asymmetrical sub-dials, comprising a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a running seconds at 9 and a time dial at 6. Besides, central chronograph seconds and rattrapante hands.

On the back side, three distinct scales, a pulsometer in a black outer ring, a telemeter in a white middle ring and a tachymeter in a black central ring, and lastly a chronograph-seconds hand.

Inside operates the Caliber FM-7000-CCRCDF based on the Valjoux 7750 movement, which runs 28,800 Vph and offers up to 54 hours of power reserve.

This doubled-side chronograph is offered with a black alligator leather strap priced at USD 25,500.
