De Bethune has unveiled the highly anticipated DB28XP Steel Wheels Tourbillon, a limited-edition marvel that elegantly combines elements from two previous models: the DB28 Steel Wheels from 2018 and the DB28XP Steel Wheels from 2022.

With a futuristic aesthetic synonymous with De Bethune, the new DB28XP Steel Wheels Tourbillon arrives in a Grade 5 Titanium case that is both robust and refined, featuring a fully polished finish. The case measures a notable 43mm in diameter and 9.10mm in thickness, showcasing floating lugs and a distinctive crown positioned at the top (at noon), while the screwed case back includes a view of the power reserve, embodying both functionality and avant-garde design.

The openworked dial of this exclusive timepiece is visually striking, centred around a delta-shaped titanium bridge that complements the titanium chapter ring with polished hour markers. The intricate design includes twin barrels and an ultra-light 30-second Tourbillon positioned at 6 o’clock, highlighted by a blue microlight pattern. The watch also features a blue titanium balance wheel and distinctive central hands with arrow-shaped tips, adding a touch of luminescence for improved legibility.

Inside, the DB28XP Steel Wheels Tourbillon is powered by the hand-wound Caliber DB2009V6 movement, an engineering masterpiece with 40 jewels and 275 meticulously crafted components. Operating at a high frequency of 5 Hz, this calibre delivers a remarkable 5-day power reserve, enabled by its twin-barrel system. The “Small” De Bethune DB28XS Starry Seas Arrives

The Bethune DB28 now arrives in a “small point”, the new DB28XS Starry Seas comes coupled in a 38.7mm case with a beautiful vivid blue dial interspersed with a “random guilloche” of stars in white gold whose watchmaking brand claims to be the first of the world.

If we look to the past we can find many similarities with the DB28 Starry Sky, although now in this more moderately sized version, it appears with a wave effect on the dial and without the tourbillon.

Thus, the new DB28XS is presented in a Grade 5 Titanium case with dimensions of 39mm in diameter by 7.4mm in thickness, and which comes with a mirror-polished finish, the usually hinged lugs and 30m of water resistance.

On the beautiful blue dial, we can also find a silver-plated skeletonized hour and minute hands, in addition to the white chapter ring with Arabic numerals.

Inside beats the Caliber DB2005 manual movement, which operates at a frequency of 4Hz and offers up to 6 days of power reserve thanks to its two barrels.

The “little” De Bethune is attached to a blue alligator leather strap with a Titanium pin buckle and can be purchased for USD 90,000.
