A Lighter, Darker, Stronger Pandial: Brellum Reveals New Titanium LE
Brellum expands its Pandial chronograph series with a new limited edition crafted in lightweight black titanium. The Pandial Power Reserve Black Titanium Chronometer LE joins the lineup as a technical evolution of the model, combining the brand’s signature dual-box construction with a darker, sport-driven aesthetic.
Case and Construction
The watch is built around a Grade 5 titanium case coated with black DLC, chosen for its durability and reduced mass. It measures 43 mm in diameter and 10.90 mm in height, or 15.90 mm when factoring in the prominent box sapphire crystals on both sides. Brellum retains its Duobox architecture, using two box-shaped sapphire crystals treated with multiple anti-reflective layers to ensure optimal legibility. Despite the elaborate construction, the total weight remains low at 72 grams, and the watch offers 100 metres of water resistance.
Dial Layout and Timing Scales
The model features a multi-level black dial designed for clear separation of functions. The diamond cut hands and applied hour markers are treated with Super-LumiNova, providing visibility in darker environments. The chronograph display is organised into four subdials: the 12-hour totaliser sits at 6 o’clock, the 30-minute counter appears at 12 o’clock, the running seconds are positioned at 9 o’clock, and the power reserve display is located at 3 o’clock. Surrounding the dial, the watch incorporates a tachymeter scale on the aluminium bezel and a telemeter track on the inner flange, expanding its measurement capabilities. A discreet date display is nestled within the hour totaliser, and subtle red details add functional emphasis while maintaining the overall monochromatic look.
Certified Chronometer Movement
Inside the watch, Brellum uses its BR-750RM calibre, an automatic movement based on the Valjoux 7750. It carries COSC chronometer certification, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and provides a 46-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through the exhibition caseback, where it is decorated with perlage, Geneva stripes and blued screws. It is completed by a black DLC-coated rotor that is engraved and individually numbered for this edition.
Strap and Limited Edition Details
The watch is equipped with a black Nebur Tec integrated strap paired with a black DLC titanium deployant clasp that weighs only 8 grams. Production is limited to 23 pieces, and the Pandial Power Reserve Black Titanium Chronometer LE is available exclusively through Brellum’s official website at CHF 2,990, excluding taxes.
