Brellum Presents The Pilot GMT LE.3 Chronometer

The still-young Swiss watchmaking brand Brellum, a specialist in the production of tool watches, now presents a new GMT Pilot Chronograph that comes with a beautiful green dial.

 

The new chronograph comes in a polished and brushed stainless steel case measuring 41.80mm in diameter, and 15.90mm thick thanks largely to the box-style sapphire crystal that covers both faces of the watch and a lug-to-lug distance of 51.80mm that together with the height of the case may well be its biggest sins. Smooth bezel, fluted crown with the brand’s signature at 3 o’clock flanked by two pump-pushers that control the chronograph function and finally 100m of water resistance.

The green dial comes with a sunburst effect, housing three sub-dials at 6-9-12 o’clock substantiated by a 12-hour counter that contains a date window with a white background at the bottom, a running seconds and a 30-minute counter respectively. Applied Arabic numerals and Dauphine’s hands all filled with Super-LumiNova and an extra center GMT hand with a red skeletonized arrow-shape tip that works in partnership with the peripheral 24-hour ring.

At its heart runs the BR-754 automatic movement based on the Valjoux 7754 which is a Chronometer certified by COSC, reaching 28,800 Vph and offering up to 46 hours of power reserve.

It is a limited edition of just 27 pieces that come attached to a brown nubuck strap whose set also includes a five-row steel bracelet and which can be purchased exclusively on the brand’s website for the price of CHF 3,150.
