Vibrant New Royal Oak Offshore Chronographs Bring A Fresh Look For Summer
As the warmer months approach, Audemars Piguet expands its Royal Oak Offshore collection with six new chronograph references that combine bold color palettes with the brand’s latest generation of in-house integrated chronograph movements. The new releases are divided into two groups, featuring 42 mm and 37 mm case sizes, each offering distinctive aesthetics while maintaining the unmistakable Royal Oak Offshore identity.
Three New Royal Oak Offshore Chronographs in 42mm
The larger trio showcases the collection’s iconic Mega Tapisserie dial pattern, enhanced by vivid color accents that bring a fresh energy to the design. Each model features a dedicated accent color applied consistently across the chronograph hands, tachymeter scale, and the start-stop pusher at 2 o’clock.

The collection includes a stainless steel model with a black dial accented by pink details, a second stainless steel reference featuring a silver-toned dial paired with vibrant orange highlights, and a lightweight titanium version distinguished by a dark grey dial combined with turquoise and yellow accents. Together, these colorful executions emphasize the sporty character of the Royal Oak Offshore while offering distinct personalities for different tastes.

All three models are fitted with interchangeable calfskin straps featuring coordinated stitching that matches the dial accents, allowing owners to easily customize the look of their watch.
Powered by the Calibre 4404
Inside each 42 mm model beats the Calibre 4404, Audemars Piguet’s integrated automatic chronograph movement. Introduced in 2019, the movement was developed entirely in-house and features a modern architecture built around a column wheel and vertical clutch system. This construction ensures smooth chronograph engagement while improving precision and reliability during operation.

The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and delivers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It also incorporates flyback chronograph functionality, enabling the wearer to instantly reset and restart the chronograph with a single press of the pusher.

A More Compact 37mm Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Collection
Alongside the 42 mm releases, Audemars Piguet presents three new 37 mm Royal Oak Offshore Chronographs designed for those seeking a more compact case size without sacrificing the collection’s sporty DNA.

Mounted on comfortable rubber straps, the new references retain the bold Offshore design language while offering proportions that suit a broader range of wrists. The collection includes a titanium model paired with a vibrant turquoise dial and matching sporty aesthetic, a second titanium version featuring a pink dial complemented by a diamond-set stainless steel bezel, and a more luxurious pink gold reference combining a light blue dial with a diamond-set bezel.
These colorful combinations bring a distinctly summery character to the collection while preserving the recognizable Royal Oak Offshore design codes.
Debut of the Calibre 6401 in the Offshore Collection
Powering the 37 mm models is the Calibre 6401, Audemars Piguet’s newest integrated automatic chronograph movement developed specifically for smaller cases.

Designed to fit the compact dimensions of the 37 mm Offshore, the movement measures 27 mm in diameter and 5.70 mm in thickness, making it significantly smaller than the Calibre 4404 found in the 42 mm references. Despite its reduced size, it retains the advanced technical architecture expected from the brand’s latest generation of chronograph calibres.
The Calibre 6401 features integrated chronograph construction, flyback functionality, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), and a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. Its introduction marks an important milestone for the collection, bringing Audemars Piguet’s newest in-house chronograph technology to the increasingly popular smaller-case segment.
