Audemars Piguet has announced its return to Watches and Wonders Geneva in 2026, marking its first participation since leaving the fair’s predecessor, SIHH, in 2020.

At Palexpo, AP’s booth will be inspired by the historic établissage system, the collaborative network of artisans from the Vallée de Joux that shaped the brand’s early years. The exhibition will highlight how this tradition of shared craftsmanship continues to influence Audemars Piguet’s modern creations.

Beyond Palexpo, AP will also take part in the “In the City” program, including a pop-up at the historic Pont de la Machine, making its world accessible to a wider public.

The 2026 fair runs from April 14–20, with professional days from April 14–17 and public days from April 18–20. Alongside Audemars Piguet, ten other brands will join for the first time, including Corum, Credor, and Sinn. At the same time, several maisons are leaving the fair, most notably Montblanc and Bell & Ross.

Audemars Piguet Reveals New [RE]Master02 In Sand Gold

Audemars Piguet has just presented the unlikely [RE]Master02, after in 2020 we saw the debut of the [RE]Master collection in a limited edition round-shaped chronograph in two tones and now a two hands watch in a sand gold asymmetrical case arrives.

The new watch is inspired by the early 1960s limited edition of just 7 pieces that came in a 27.50mm gold case with the same shape.

The new watch now comes wider, in a 41mm wide and 9.70mm tall case in the brand’s Sand Gold with sharp angles, horizontal brushed finish on the surfaces and vertical on the sides, angular sapphire crystal following the shape of the case, hexagonal crown with the brand’s signature, open case back and 30m water resistance.

The dial, like the original, is divided into 12 triangles, but here in “Blue Nuit, Nuage 50”, which we had already seen on the Royal Oak Jumbo obtained through the Physical Vapor Deposition technique, where streaks are subsequently applied at the same Sand Gold of the case that not only give life to the triangles but also work as hour markers in the same material as the two centre hands.

The ultra-thin Caliber 7129 automatic movement of just 2.80mm brings the watch to life, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 52 hours of power reserve.

The 250 individually numbered pieces come attached to a blue Alligator leather strap with an 18k Sand Gold pin buckle and are priced at CHF 38,000 plus tax.

Audemars Piguet opens the new year 2024 with a trunk full of news, headed by the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar “John Mayer” which we have already talked about in another article, and with at least fifteen more new watches which we are now making a brief look:

There are seven new references to add, all coming in an 18k pink gold cases and with a reviewed dial, featuring now a snailed pattern and improved indices.

The new additions to the collection include four watches with three hands and date, two of them in 38mm with a light blue or dark blue dial, and two others in 41mm with a dark blue or green dial. There are also three new chronographs that come with dark blue, black and green dials.

All watches come attached to an alligator leather or textured rubber strap matching the tone of the dial.

Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon

There are three new references that come in a 41mm wide case in different materials, and a dial with two luminescent center hands and flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock.

The main highlight here is the debut of the new alloy in precious material, called “Sand Gold” made of pure gold and where silver is replaced by Palladium. The watch comes with an openworked dial with matching bridges. Powered by Caliber 2972 automatic movement.

Then there are two more references, one that comes in an 18k rose gold case and matching accents on a grainy grey dial and the other in steel case with a fumé red dial that is also textured. Both powered by Caliber 2950.

The fumé blue dial comes with the Petite Tapisserie pattern adorned with baguette-cut diamonds hour markers and a tourbillon at 6 o’clock powered by the Caliber 2968 automatic movement.
