Astor+Banks Unveils The Upgraded Sea Ranger M2

Astor+Banks brings back the Sea Ranger in the M2 version, which stands out for coming with two crowns and a full-lumed inner bezel.

The new Sea Ranger M2 arrives in four colours on the dial: Blue, Army Green, Tobacco (brown) and the classic Black.

On the outside, we find a brushed stainless steel case with dimensions very similar to the previous version with 40mm in diameter, 12.50mm thick and 45.50mm long, with a hard coating finish that protects it from scratches. Sapphire crystal, two crowns at 2 and 4 o’clock, with the first signed in red with the 2T (second time) and used to handle the bezel and the second for setting the time and date that comes with the brand’s logo, screwed solid case back and 300m waterproof.

The matte dials in addition to the white bidirectional bezel feature applied baton hour markers and three centre hands, filled with Super-LumiNova C1 X1 Grade which glows turquoise in the dark and a customized date window with a matching background at 6 o’clock, which is another new feature.

Powered by the 24-jewel Caliber LJP-G100 automatic movement with an accuracy of +/- 8 seconds per day, runs 28,800 Vph and offers up to 68 hours of power reserve.

The watch comes attached to a tapered 3-Link steel bracelet that starts at 20mm wide between lugs and ends at 16mm on the improved Nodex clasp that comes with micro-adjustments up to 10mm.

The set also includes a Horween leather single watch wallet, an FKM rubber strap and a tool for changing straps, which arrives for €1,108.95 with the first deliveries expected in August.
