Probably the most famous of the G-Shocks, also known as the Casio-Oak, has just launched not one but three new variants, an unprecedented debut in full steel within the 2100 line.
Since its launch in 2019, the Casio G-Shock GA-2100 which presents an octagonal bezel inspired by the first G-Shock DW-5000C from 1983, has been a hit not only for its similar appearance to the AP Royal Oak but also for its being the thinnest G-Shock on the market, surpassing the 5000 series that up to that time held this milestone, and since then there are countless models launched, with different variants of colours, dimensions, functions and powered by different sources of energy, in short, we can say that there is almost a different G-Shock 2100 to suit everyone’s taste.
The new Casio G-Shock GM-B2100 comes in three versions in silver (GM-B2100D), black (GM-B2100BD) and rose gold (GM-B2100GD), now they have a unique case structure on the outside with an integrated bezel and a steel bracelet that joins the previous components of the case back and buttons. made of the same material, which cushions the internal components made of fine resin together with the three-pronged structure that disperses the shock to the band.
The black dial features the same dual-layer construction and layout as the other models, namely an analogue clock formed by two central hands, the LCD display between 3 and 6 o’clock and the multifunction sub-dial at 9 o’clock and a double LED light.
The inside is powered by solar-powered technology with Bluetooth connectivity that allows better accuracy.
Among the countless functions are the 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, 5 daily alarms, world time, phone finder, event reminder, and smartphone link, among many others.
The watches will be available from today, the 4th of August 2022 for pre-order on the brand’s website through this link and will begin to be shipped from the 12th of August, the date from which they will also be available at physical stores.
