Bulgari Unveils Two New Aluminium Chronograph Editions In White And Blue

For summer 2025, Bulgari expands its Aluminium Chronograph line with two new colourways, adding a bold white reference (Ref. 104235) and a rich blue variant (Ref. 104234) to the collection. These models continue the brand’s distinctive approach of blending unconventional materials with contemporary Italian design.

Lightweight Structure, Durable Build

Both models retain the core architecture of the Aluminium Chronograph series: a 41 mm aluminium case with a thickness of 11.10 mm, paired with a titanium caseback and chronograph pushers for enhanced durability. The pushers on the blue edition are coated in black DLC, providing contrast and scratch resistance. Surrounding the case is Bulgari’s signature rubber bezel, engraved with the double “BVLGARI” logo—white on the Ref. 104235 and deep blue on the Ref. 104234. Each piece is rated for 100 metres of water resistance, suitable for daily wear and recreational aquatic use.

Distinctive Dial Treatments

The key differences between the two models lie in their dial executions. The white reference features a matte white dial with snailed white subdials located at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, complemented by a red-tipped central chronograph seconds hand for a touch of contrast. In comparison, the blue model presents a rich navy blue dial with matching snailed subdials, delivering a sportier and more cohesive aesthetic.

Both dials incorporate applied Arabic numerals at 12 o’clock, baton-style indices coated in Super-LumiNova, and a colour-matched date window positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock. A fine peripheral track ensures precise readings of seconds and minutes.

Mechanical Movement

Powering both watches is the Bulgari Calibre B381, an automatic chronograph movement based on the Sellita SW300, enhanced with a Dubois-Depraz chronograph module. Operating at 4Hz (28,800 vibrations/hour), this movement delivers a 42-hour power reserve and supports a tri-compax chronograph layout along with a quickset date function.

The movement is protected by a solid titanium caseback—sandblasted for the white model and DLC-coated for the blue version. Each caseback is engraved with the corresponding reference and technical specifications.

Integrated Rubber Strap

The watches are equipped with FKM rubber straps in colours matching their bezels and dials—white for Ref. 104235 and blue for Ref. 104234. The straps include integrated aluminium links for added flexibility and comfort, secured with a pin buckle that complements the case design.

Availability and Price

The Bulgari Aluminium Chronograph Ref. 104234, with the blue dial, joins the permanent collection. Meanwhile, Ref. 104235, with the white dial, is a limited edition of 400 pieces. Both models are now available at Bulgari boutiques and authorised retailers, priced at € 5,300.
