Built For The Deep: The Squale Master Grand Returns Stronger Than Ever
Continuing its legacy of professional-grade dive watches, Squale has expanded its Master collection—a name long associated with the brand’s most robust diving instruments—with a titanium-cased model rated for extreme underwater performance. The latest release features two new dial variants in vivid blue and teal, adding a colorful twist to a timepiece engineered for serious depth.

Titanium Case, Built for 1200 Meters
The heart of the Master Grand is a Grade 5 titanium case measuring 42mm in diameter. Known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, titanium ensures the watch remains lightweight and comfortable despite its formidable specifications. The case is built to endure 120 ATM of pressure, equating to 1200 meters of water resistance. This is made possible by a helium escape valve, a 4mm-thick sapphire crystal, and a ceramic unidirectional bezel insert—components designed to meet the demands of saturation diving.

Ocean-Inspired Dials with Dimensional Detail
The two dial options are directly inspired by underwater conditions experienced by professional freedivers. The blue version captures the deep ocean hues seen at extreme depths, while the teal variant reflects the sunlight filtering through water as divers ascend. Both dials are enhanced with a wave-textured pattern, creating a dynamic visual effect that changes with the light and angle.

Each dial features a date window at 3 o’clock, blending seamlessly into the color scheme with a black date disc. The hour markers and bold hands are generously coated in Super-LumiNova, glowing in blue or green tones depending on the model, ensuring excellent visibility in low-light underwater environments. A luminous pip on the bezel and a glowing seconds hand tip add further functionality.
Reliable Swiss Movement Inside
Powering the Master Grand is the Sellita SW200-1 Elaboré grade automatic movement. This Swiss-made caliber runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and delivers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. It’s a time-tested mechanism chosen for its accuracy and robustness—ideal for a tool watch of this nature.

Functional Strap with a Stylish Edge and Price
While the included strap mimics the refined appearance of leather, it’s crafted from durable Italian rubber, making it suitable for aquatic use. Embossed with an alligator-style pattern and finished with dark grey contrast stitching, the strap offers a blend of utility and sophistication, ideal for both deep-sea expeditions and casual topside wear. The new Squale Master Grand is now available for € 2,500.

The Squale Master Grand continues the brand’s dedication to functional dive watches while introducing bold aesthetics and lightweight materials. It’s a compelling option for professional divers and enthusiasts alike who demand performance without compromising on style.
