Buccellati Opens First Standalone Boutique In The Iberian Peninsula
Italian luxury Maison Buccellati has officially opened its first standalone boutique in the Iberian Peninsula, choosing Lisbon’s prestigious Avenida da Liberdade as the location for its latest retail destination.
The inauguration was attended by members of the Buccellati family, now in its fourth generation, alongside Nicolas Luchsinger, CEO of Buccellati, the Italian Ambassador to Portugal, partners, clients and members of the press.

Developed in partnership with Boutique dos Relógios Plus, the new boutique is located at number 215 and spans 136.2 square metres across two floors connected by a lift. The space showcases Buccellati’s renowned jewellery, watches and silver creations, while also featuring a private room for personalised appointments and an area dedicated to Silver Deco collections.

A highlight of the evening was a live demonstration by a Buccellati artisan, offering guests a closer look at the traditional engraving and finishing techniques that have defined the Maison since its founding in Milan in 1919. These handcrafted methods, inspired by Renaissance-era Italian botteghe, ensure that every creation is unique.

The second floor revealed another side of the Buccellati universe, presenting decorative silver objects and tableware alongside the brand’s jewellery collections. The boutique also incorporates elements of Portuguese heritage, including three antique Portuguese mirrors displayed on the lower ground floor.

“We are incredibly excited to unveil our new boutique in Lisbon, a city that beautifully marries rich history with a vibrant contemporary spirit,” said Nicolas Luchsinger, CEO of Buccellati. “This new space allows us to offer our clientele in Portugal a truly immersive journey into the world of Buccellati.”

Today part of the Richemont Group, Buccellati continues to preserve the craftsmanship and values established by the founding family, which remains actively involved in the Maison’s management.
The boutique is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, and on Sundays and public holidays from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
