Brew Metric Lite: Compact Form, Full Function
Brew Watch Co. introduces the Metric Lite, a new series of timepieces that marks the brand’s smallest case size to date. Built for versatility and comfort, the collection includes three variants housed in 30 mm cushion-shaped cases, each retaining the distinctive styling cues that define the Metric family.
Despite its reduced dimensions, the Metric Lite maintains a solid presence thanks to its stainless steel construction. Two models come in polished steel cases, while a third is finished in a rich gold PVD coating. Measuring 34 mm lug-to-lug with a 10.50 mm thickness, the Metric Lite is compact on the wrist yet visually substantial due to the bold case architecture.
The collection presents three dial options to suit different tastes. One version pairs a glossy black dial with the polished steel case for a sleek, minimalist look. Another features a mother-of-pearl dial in the same steel case, adding a more expressive and colorful dimension to the design. The third variant offers a black dial matched with the gold PVD case, delivering a more classic and refined aesthetic.
Each dial is adorned with Brew’s signature coffee bean motif, embossed in intaglio at the center — a subtle nod to the brand’s thematic roots. Surrounding the dial is a deep rehaut that enhances visual depth, while polished applied indices and luminous pips at each hour mark provide both clarity and a touch of nighttime legibility. Despite the watch’s small size, these elements add notable dimensionality.
The watch is equipped with an integrated-style flat-link bracelet that connects seamlessly to the case, preserving the clean lines of the overall design. A notched crown at the 3 o’clock position is proportioned to match the case and ensures ease of use without interrupting the case profile.
Powering the Metric Lite is the automatic Miyota 6T27 movement, a Japanese caliber designed specifically for small mechanical watches. Operating at a high beat rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), it offers a 40-hour power reserve. While the movement is not decorated, it is visible through a sapphire caseback, where a custom rotor engraved with the BREW logo adds a distinctive finishing touch.
The Brew Metric Lite is available now, with each of the three models priced at € 327.95. Designed to bring mechanical watchmaking to a wider audience with smaller wrists, the Metric Lite combines wearable proportions with bold design details, resulting in a timepiece that is both accessible and refined.
