Breitling has strengthened its presence in the United States by becoming the official timepiece partner of the National Football League (NFL). This new partnership introduces two special collections designed for fans of all 32 NFL teams: the Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 and the Endurance Pro.

Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 NFL Editions

The Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 takes the lead as the flagship of the collection. Crafted in stainless steel, the watch has a diameter of 40 mm, a thickness of 11.77 mm, and a lug-to-lug measurement of 47.40 mm. Inside beats an automatic movement that has been certified as a chronometer by the COSC. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers a power reserve of 42 hours, and is water-resistant to 200 meters thanks to its twin crown gaskets.

Each model is personalized with the colors of a specific NFL team. The dial is finished in the team’s primary color, while the GMT hand takes on the secondary tone, allowing the wearer to track a second time zone using the 24-hour scale. It is powered by Breitling’s thermocompensated SuperQuartz movement, which is also COSC-certified, ensuring precision well beyond standard quartz timepieces.

The dial layout includes a 30-minute chronograph counter, a one-tenth of a second counter, and a date display. Each edition highlights the chosen team’s identity, placing its logo at the six o’clock subdial and integrating the team colors into the pulsation scale, which can be used to measure heart rate. The watch is equipped with a bidirectional rotating compass bezel and comes fitted to a color-matched rubber strap.
