Breguet Presents Reine De Naples 8925 Valentine’s Day Edition
With Valentino’s Day in mind in the upcoming year, Breguet unveils its new Reine de Naples 8925 in the red tones of its rubies and white of its diamonds.
A model that has more than two decades of history starting in 2002 and aimed at a classic female audience where there is no room for anything other than elegance.
This new timepiece, which is an authentic piece of jewelry, is cased in 18k white gold and includes a 45 hand-set diamond bezel whose precious stones also cover the ‘medallion’ attached to the bottom.
On the outside, the watch returns to its oval shape with dimensions of 24.95mm by 33mm and a thickness of 8.50mm, fluted profile, diamond bezel, sapphire crystal on both sides and crown at 4 o’clock with a red cabochon-cut ruby.
On the mother of pearl dial we can find a flange set with 66 rubies, black Breguet numerals that follow the oval shape of the case, lengthening at the top and flattening at the bottom and an off-center minute track decorated with 12 red hearts to match the two Breguet open-tipped hands.
Inside runs the In-house automatic movement Caliber 586/1, which comes with the silicon balance spring, operating 21,600 Vph and offering a day and a half of power reserve. Also noteworthy is the platinum rotor that comes decorated with guilloché that can be seen through the open rear case.
The watch comes attached to a red alligator leather strap with a buckle in the same material as the case adorned with 28 diamonds.
