Blancpain’s Bathyscaphe Collection Welcomes Full Red Gold Versions

Blancpain’s Bathyscaphe line opened in 1956 with a more moderately sized case, after presenting the Quantième Complet and Chronograph Flyback models in ceramic in June, they are now presenting both in a solid red gold case.

These two new sports timepieces whose versatility goes far beyond dive watch features, combine a red gold case and bracelet with a gradient blue dial.

The watches wear a round case measuring 43mm in diameter and 13.40mm thick which in the chronograph version grows 1.50mm in height, a unidirectional bezel with blue ceramic insert with Ceragold minute scale, sapphire crystal, a fluted signed crown at 3 o’clock than in chronograph is accompanied by two pushers and 300m of water resistance.

On the smoke blue dials, on one, we find a calendar complete with a moon phase indicator and on the other a flyback chronograph with three dedicated registers and a date window. The two watches also share applied gold hour markers and syringe hands.

Inside we find the 28-jewel 6654.P automatic movement that operates 28,800 Vph and offers up to 3 days of power reserve on the full calendar and the high-frequency Caliber F385 that comes with a column wheel and vertical clutch on the flyback chronograph.

The watches are attached to a 3-row red gold bracelet with a triple folding clasp and arrive with the same price tag of €59,500.
