Biver Debuts It’s First Three-Hands Automatique Timepiece
Biver, the newly established brand by horological legend Jean-Claude Biver and his son Pierre, has unveiled its first automatic three-hands watch. Known for creating exquisite timepieces, Biver’s latest watch offers basic time functions within a luxurious and finely crafted design.
The new timepieces feature round cases available in either polished and brushed rose gold or platinum, measuring 39mm in diameter and 10mm in thickness. They also boast angular lugs, a smooth bezel, sapphire glass on both sides and a fluted crown at 3 o’clock. The watch has a water resistance of up to 80 meters.
The dial, available in white or yellow gold, is designed with a sector layout featuring various finishes, applied hour markers, Dauphine hands, and a minute/second track carved along the edges.
Inside, the watch is powered by the automatic Caliber JCB-003, which can be viewed through the rear sapphire glass. This movement, designed by Dubois-Depraz, includes a 22k gold micro-rotor, operates at 25,200 Vph, and offers a 65-hour power reserve. The movement is highly decorated, featuring finishes like Clous de Paris.
The watches have either a leather strap or a 5-row metal bracelet. Prices start at CHF 75,000 and go up to CHF 92,000, excluding taxes.
