Bentley’s Bentayga Goes Off-Road With The New X Concept
Bentley has revealed the Bentayga X Concept at the FAT Ice Race in Zell am See, Austria, presenting a more off-road-oriented interpretation of its luxury SUV. The concept is intended to assess interest in a Bentayga designed for use beyond paved roads.

The X Concept is based on the Bentayga Speed and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 producing 641 horsepower. While the drivetrain remains unchanged, Bentley has introduced a range of chassis and suspension modifications to enhance off-road performance.

Ride height has been increased, resulting in 12.2 inches of ground clearance, while wading depth approaches two feet. The SUV also features a wider track, extended by nearly five inches, along with flared wheel arches for improved stability and clearance.

The concept rides on 22-inch forged wheels fitted with all-terrain tires and is equipped with roof-mounted auxiliary lighting. A custom roof rack system further reinforces the adventure-focused theme and is shown carrying a compact electric go-kart.

While no production version has been confirmed, the Bentayga X Concept illustrates how Bentley could expand the Bentayga range with a model offering increased versatility while retaining the performance foundation of the Speed.
