Bell & Ross BR05 Chrono Steel Now Arrives In Green
Bell & Ross once again reinforces its BR05 collection created in 2019, now presenting a new BR05 Chrono Green Steel, which joins the three permanent editions with a blue, black and white hawk dial and the more recent limited edition A523, the result of a partnership with the Alpine F1 team.
The new chronograph thus continues to dress the 42mm wide by 14.2mm thick square stainless steel case, featuring a smooth bezel fixed with four screws and which comes with the satin-brushed and polished finish, screw-down crown with crown guards and two angular pushers, sapphire glass on both sides and 100m water resistance.
The eye-catching new emerald green dial comes with a sunburst finish, two totalizers with silver tracks consisting of a 30-minute counter and a running seconds at 3-9 o’clock, a round date window at 4:30, hands and applied hour markers and Arabic numerals all filled with Super-LumiNova and a chronograph centre seconds hand.
And if you had already noticed the inversion of the positions of the two counters, then you must have guessed that the main novelty lives inside, the “new” Caliber 326 based on the Sellita SW510 replaces the former BR-Cal.301 based on the ETA 2894-2. The new automatic movement reaches 28,800 Vph and now offers up to 60 hours of power reserve versus 42 hours previously.
The new chronograph, like the other variants, is attached to a steel bracelet or a textured rubber strap matching the dial hue, with prices ranging between €6,900 and €6,400 respectively, in line with the existing models in the collection.
