Baume & Mercier Expands The Riviera Line With Sleek 41MM Chronographs
Baume & Mercier strengthens its Riviera collection for 2025 with the introduction of four new chronograph models in a versatile 41mm case size. Built on the Riviera’s hallmark dodecagonal design, these new references combine refined proportions, mechanical precision, and sport-chic styling. The new models include a flyback chronograph and three traditional chronographs with distinct dial layouts and complications, delivering a modern yet rooted interpretation of the brand’s sporty icon.
Riviera Chronograph Flyback 41mm – Limited Edition (Ref. M0A10828)
The Riviera Chronograph Flyback is presented in a 41mm stainless steel case with alternating polished and brushed surfaces. Measuring 14.34mm in thickness, the case is fitted with a flat sapphire crystal that’s treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides. A screw-down crown with the embossed Phi symbol and angular pushers reinforce the Riviera’s sporty identity. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters.
Its golden dial features a vertically brushed finish and a classic bi-compax layout, flanked by tachymeter and telemeter scales. Rhodium-plated Roman numerals at 12 and 6, riveted indexes, and broad hands are all treated with beige Super-LumiNova emitting a blue glow. The chronograph seconds hand is blued and counterbalanced by the Baume & Mercier emblem.
This version is powered by the automatic La Joux-Perret 8147 calibre, equipped with a flyback function, a 42-hour power reserve, and a 4Hz beat rate. The watch is delivered on a stainless steel three-row bracelet with polished and brushed links and Baume & Mercier’s quick-change system. The caseback is engraved with “Limited Edition One of 73,” referencing the original Riviera debut in 1973.
Riviera Chronograph 41mm – Panda Dial (Ref. M0A10827)
This reference maintains the steel dodecagonal case design, with a slightly slimmer 13.94mm profile. The case includes a sapphire crystal and an open caseback secured by four screws. It also offers 100 meters of water resistance and features a crown with a black thread accent and the Phi logo.
The dial adopts a “panda” style layout with a white wave-textured surface and contrasting black subdials in a 3-6-9 configuration. A black chapter ring encircles the dial, and a discreet date window is placed at 4:30. Rhodium-plated markers and hands are filled with white Super-LumiNova for readability.
Inside is the Valjoux 7753 automatic chronograph movement, offering a 48-hour power reserve and 28,800vph frequency. The date is adjusted via a corrector tool. This reference is also fitted with an integrated steel bracelet, interchangeable without tools.
Riviera Chronograph Day-Date 41mm – Blue (Ref. M0A10826) & Black (Ref. M0A10825)
Baume & Mercier rounds off the new 41mm lineup with two day-date chronographs in black and blue colorways. These models scale down the previously released 43mm variants, while keeping the same architectural design language with faceted steel construction and bold pushers. Both models retain the signature wave dial pattern, finished with a sunray satin effect.
Each dial features a tri-compax chronograph layout at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock. The day and date display is set at 3 o’clock, with white-on-black indications for clear visibility. Roman numerals and indexes are rhodium-plated and treated with Super-LumiNova, paired with luminous hour and minute hands.
These references are powered by the Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph calibre, providing a 48-hour power reserve and operating at 4Hz. They come on the same stainless steel bracelet with the brand’s quick-change mechanism for seamless transition to rubber strap options.
