Baltic Returns As Official Timekeeper Of Tour Auto With The New Scalegraph
Baltic continues its role as the Official Timekeeper of the Tour Auto for the third consecutive year, marking another milestone in classic motorsport. This prestigious event, set to take place from April 6th, will see participants race from Paris to Nice, celebrating vintage automotive excellence. To commemorate this partnership, the French watch brand introduces a new iteration of its Tri-Compax chronograph, the new Scalegraph, featuring a Big-Eye design inspired by the 1970s and enhanced water resistance.

The latest Baltic Tour Auto chronograph is crafted with a robust stainless steel case, measuring 39.50mm in diameter, 14.10mm in thickness, and 47mm in length. Its primarily brushed finish exudes a refined aesthetic, complemented by a double-domed sapphire crystal and a fixed tachymeter bezel with a dark blue aluminum insert. The watch’s drilled lugs and fluted crown, adorned with the brand’s signature, are now accompanied by screw-down pushers that elevate its water resistance to 100 meters—double that of its predecessors. The solid case back, featuring the official race logo and individual numbering, adds an exclusive touch to this limited edition.

At the heart of the timepiece is a striking light blue dial with a satin finish, exuding a vintage yet contemporary appeal. The dial configuration includes three registers: an off-white azurage 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a running seconds counter at 9 o’clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock. Applied indexes, a prominent 12 numeral, and lumed dots enhance visibility, while the hands are filled with Super-LumiNova for optimal legibility. A minute track in a contrasting blue shade frames the display, complemented by a dark blue chronograph center seconds hand.

Powering the new Baltic Tour Auto Scalegraph is the Sellita SW510-M hand-wound movement, renowned for its reliability. This 23-jewel caliber operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers an impressive 60-hour power reserve, making it a dependable companion for enthusiasts and collectors alike.

This limited edition timepiece, restricted to just 400 units, is offered with a stylish beads-of-rice stainless steel bracelet featuring a folding clasp, along with an additional navy blue Alcantara strap. Priced at €1,750 plus VAT, the watch captures the essence of motorsport heritage while delivering modern functionality.

Further enriching its involvement in Tour Auto, Baltic Racing is set to compete in the VHC category with two classic cars—a 1963 Lotus Elan 26R and a 1965 MG B—bringing the brand’s passion for vintage racing to the forefront. This continued engagement underscores Baltic’s deep connection with the world of classic motorsport and fine watchmaking, making the Tour Auto chronograph a true collector’s piece.
