Audemars Piguet Adds Two Smoked Blue Dials To 41MM Royal Oak Collection
Audemars Piguet has introduced two new 41mm Royal Oak Selfwinding models, both crafted in white gold and featuring a striking smoked blue dial. These additions expand the Royal Oak collection with luxurious variations of the time-and-date and chronograph references.
Ref. 15510BC – Royal Oak Selfwinding 41 mm
The first of the two releases is the Royal Oak Selfwinding reference 15510BC, a three-hand model with date, housed in a 41 mm case crafted entirely in 18-carat white gold. Measuring 10.50 mm in thickness, the case retains the signature octagonal bezel with eight hexagonal screws, a screw-down crown, and sapphire crystal on both the front and back.

The watch is powered by the Calibre 4302, an in-house automatic movement operating at 4Hz (28,800 vibrations/hour) with a 70-hour power reserve. This movement, introduced as part of Audemars Piguet’s new-generation calibres, offers improved precision and robustness.
The watch is paired with an integrated white gold bracelet that features the brand’s folding clasp, enhancing both comfort and security. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters.
Ref. 26240BC – Royal Oak Chronograph 41 mm
The second model is the Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph reference 26240BC, which shares the same 41 mm white gold case architecture but is slightly thicker at 12.40 mm to accommodate its integrated chronograph movement.

This version is powered by the Calibre 4401, Audemars Piguet’s fully integrated flyback chronograph movement. It features a column wheel and vertical clutch mechanism, offering smoother operation and flyback functionality, allowing the chronograph to be reset and restarted with a single press. Like the time-only version, it also delivers a 70-hour power reserve.
The chronograph is equipped with screw-down pushers, a sapphire caseback, and a white gold integrated bracelet. Water resistance remains at 50 meters.
Dial Design
Both models are fitted with dials that feature the “Grande Tapisserie” guilloché pattern, a hallmark of the Royal Oak. The new smoked blue dial introduces a gradient finish, transitioning from deep navy at the center to almost black at the edges. This effect enhances the dimensionality of the tapisserie texture.

Complementing the dial are white gold applied hour markers and Royal Oak hands, all filled with luminescent coating for readability in low light. A silver-toned minute track encircles the outer edge, adding contrast and clarity.
Availability & Pricing
Initially launched exclusively in the Japanese market, these two 41 mm white gold Royal Oak models are now available globally. The time-date version is priced at CHF 60,300 and the chronograph version at CHF 71,600.

These releases highlight Audemars Piguet’s continued evolution of its iconic Royal Oak line, offering collectors a precious metal variant with a sophisticated and contemporary dial aesthetic.
