Atelier Wen Introduces Titanium Millésime Mù With A Stunning Purple Dial
Atelier Wen, the Chinese watch company co-founded by Robin Tallendier, has introduced the limited-edition Perception Titanium Millésime Mù, a timepiece that pays tribute to the brand’s loyal supporters who have played a key role in its success. This exclusive watch, named “Mù,” which translates to “Amity,” marks a milestone for the brand as the first Perception model crafted from titanium.
The Perception Titanium Millésime Mù is encased in Grade 5 titanium, measuring 40mm in diameter, 9.40mm in thickness, and 47mm in length. Its design features a brushed surface with polished bevels, providing a refined yet contemporary aesthetic. The fluted crown and sapphire glass add to its elegance, while the case back is semi-open, engraved with a lion motif. With water resistance up to 100 meters and an integrated bracelet that now offers a more tapered look and micro-adjustments for comfort, this watch combines functionality with style.
The standout feature of this limited edition is its striking purple dial, adorned with a handcrafted fish-scale guilloché pattern. This intricate design shifts between lighter and darker shades of purple depending on the light, making the watch both dynamic and visually captivating. The dial is complemented by applied indexes and leaf-shaped hands filled with luminescent material, ensuring readability in various lighting conditions. The brand’s logo and lettering sit proudly at the 12 o’clock position.
Powering the Perception Titanium Millésime Mù is the 32-jewel Dandong SL1588A automatic movement. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (Vph), this movement provides a 41-hour power reserve. Adding to the allure of this timepiece is the purple rhodium-plated rotor, visible through the case back, offering a subtle nod to the watch’s unique colour theme.
Pre-orders for the Perception Titanium Millésime Mù are now open and will run until October 21st, with deliveries scheduled for May of the following year. The first 88 units will include an additional leather strap, and the watch is priced at €3,268, offering a sophisticated blend of craftsmanship, exclusivity, and value for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
