Aston Martin Unleashes The DBX S: A Sharper, Lighter, Louder Flagship SUV
Aston Martin is turning up the heat with the new DBX S, a high-performance evolution of its luxury SUV that blends sharper dynamics, more power, and a design dialed up to 11. Building on the foundation of the DBX707, the new flagship arrives with serious engineering upgrades, visual attitude, and weight-saving tech — including performance bits inspired directly by the upcoming Valhalla supercar.
A Powerhouse with Supercar DNA
Under the hood, the DBX S features an upgraded 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 727PS (717bhp) — a 20PS increase thanks to revised turbo tech lifted from Valhalla. The result? 0-62mph in just 3.3 seconds, and a ferocious soundtrack delivered via a modified exhaust that’s all about character and volume.

Power is channeled through a nine-speed wet-clutch transmission, sending torque variably to all four wheels — up to 100% to the rear if needed — with snappier gear shifts in Sport modes for an even more visceral drive.
Built to Perform, Engineered to Impress
Weight-saving is a major theme. A massive carbon fibre roof (the largest ever fitted to an Aston Martin), optional magnesium wheels, and a lightweight polycarbonate grille all contribute to a meaningful drop in mass and a lower center of gravity. Even the roof rails are gone, saving grams in the right places.

The suspension setup benefits from the refinements introduced in recent updates, and combined with faster steering and a revised gearbox, the DBX S promises agility that edges closer to sports car territory — while keeping SUV practicality. Massive carbon ceramic brakes ensure stopping power matches performance.
Aggressive Looks with Purpose
Visually, the DBX S leaves no doubt about its intent. A blacked-out grille, stacked quad exhausts, aero tweaks like upturned air splitters, and optional carbon fibre elements give it a striking, muscular stance. Special badging and new livery color options — including Rosso Corsa Red and Podium Green — help it stand out even more.
Inside: Sport Meets Sophistication
Inside, a new herringbone stitch pattern on the seats and optional carbon roof lining adds a sense of motion and dynamism. Standard Alcantara trim is blended with semi-aniline leather for durability and luxury. The red seatbelts and embossed “S” branding reinforce this DBX’s performance credentials.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an Aston Martin without serious audio. The standard 800W, 14-speaker system is impressive, but an optional 1,600W Bowers & Wilkins surround system with 23 speakers and 3D spatial tuning is on offer for audiophiles.
A Statement SUV, Inside and Out
The DBX S is more than just a performance upgrade — it’s a bold statement of where Aston Martin is headed: ultra-luxury fused with cutting-edge performance and technology. With deliveries set to begin in Q4 2025, the DBX S continues the brand’s proud tradition of ‘S’ models — and arguably redefines what an SUV can be.
